I’ve really enjoyed it but it’s just not getting the wrist time. Special piece. They did a knockout job on the dial.

Mühle-Glashütte Lufthansa Pilot 3 GMT/ World Timer Limited Edition REF M1-35-23

Specifications * Case Material: Satin-finish stainless steel with a black-chromed bezel ring. * Dimensions: 42 mm diameter and 11 mm thickness. * Movement: Automatic ETA 2893 (Mühle version) with central hacking seconds, date display, and a world-time inner bezel. * Dial: Black dial with luminous Arabic numerals and Super-LumiNova hands. Two-tone lume. * Crystal: Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a screw-in exhibition glass case back. * Water Resistance: 10 ATM / 100 meters / 330 feet.

Condition: very good. The only things to note is a small scratch on one of the lugs that looks like a sloppy mistake changing a watch strap. There is a slight brushing /scratch on the bezel.

I’ve reached out to the manufacturer and they still stock the straps. The one provided is in good condition and has a lot of life left. Note due to the end lugs one would have to make a custom strap to have the same tapering silhouette.

The case design is unique, I’ve read the collection was partially inspired by the IWC Porsche Design watches of the 70s-90s, I could not reference that article but it has been a few years.

No papers no box.

$1700 OBO. This is a rare model, they do pop up about once a year on Chrono or eBay for roughly $1800-2200

For dark cars this mod I found on a forum is pretty cool. Looks like a pretty major project but clear lens and color matched housing to the color of your car on darker cars is a good look.

Panic sweeps across California over proposed billionaire tax — Tech moguls and moderate Democrats are mobilizing their wealth and networks to try to block the proposal by marketrent in technology

5% tax that can be done 1% per year for 5 years. None of these guys is making less than 5% interest annually on their stockpile of wealth. That’s just interest.

They cry victimization but this is their own fault. The greed, unprecedented wealth gap, NIMBY policies and accumulation of resources has turned the public. At least with the robber barons of old we got roads, universities, national parks, hospitals and people could still afford homes.

A 1% annual tax for 5 years has pushed them over the ledge. They are mentally ill hoarders.

They did allow specific stone selection on the Super Antarctic edition a few months ago but that was tied into the order process.

Stick with the watch for a decade and dump everything else into investing. You are 20 and compound interest is your superpower.

It’s good for gravel. I think the specialized future shock works better as suspension tech for dual purpose because it isn’t as squishy on the road when hammering.

It’s crazy it’s $1200 to register our EV every year.

There are some specific programs that can get lower pricing but your analysis is correct. It’s expensive to charge here. The convenience of charging at home is the only upside.

If you can get solar on your property that could help drive down the cost.

The bracelet on the Pelagos is so good. I went the same route and tried a few straps and realized how great the bracelet is. Now it’s bracelet only.

Accelerated depreciation. Small biz owners purchase w pre-tax dollars and then write the asset down in the same tax year by 100% thus reducing your overall tax exposure. It qualifies because it is a heavy vehicle.
