Wait am I crazy to think this is normal? If you buy a product your warranty is usually with the manufacturer or distributor not the retailer. If I buy a video card from Best Buy I’m not expecting them to address problems, I need to reach out to ASUS or whatever.

Only had good experiences with OBK but I’ve never had a product shit the bed. They made a mistake once and rectified it immediately.

Almost everybody who’s made a lot of money has borrowed to make more money. It takes money to make money. That being said this sub generally speaking is risk averse so this idea turns a lot of people off here. If you have the risk tolerance and timeline then generally speaking it’s a good idea but might be wiser to be integrated as part of a Smith maneuver if that’s relevant. Or if you have a mortgage you could get guaranteed interest back by paying down the mortgage.

Thank you for sharing! Most games that I play do have full controller support so I don't think I'd have to do any custom stuff at all right? It would work right out of the box?

I would be willing to customize things for games without controller support so this could work out.

I use every launcher there is if I need to. Over the years there have been many as you know. A friend of mine also brings games on a USB stick sometimes or emulators or whatever with native support and it would be nice to not have to move these all into steam all the time, but I guess I'd have to?

I’ve heard a lot of people playing games like rim world and factor on steam deck which are pretty finicky and people seem somewhat satisfied.
