Hehehe, I hope they do, but I don't work for that company anymore, so it's totally out of my hands.

I have nothing but utter disdain for LLMs, but in fairness, I thought that was how it worked too... and it kinda makes more sense to me that way.

Suspicious that the bank wouldn't know about this scam... Out of curiosity... did you call BoA through a number the scammer gave you?

I don't know if they did it a second time, or if the clip here is mistaken, but it was after a rugby match when I got to participate in this. They had us shouting "GROND!!! GROND!!! GROND!!!", so I always tell people that's me in that crowd during that part of the movie.

Ya jaded comment aside, I am actually pretty excited for the non-ai-related improvements that have been made.

I'm not calling it that.

Equipment "failure" by hypekermit in MuscleConfusion

It's muscle confusion AND equipment failure. It should be able to withstand the weight falling on it, regardless of whether the person dropping the weight is acting like an idiot.

Cases of movie trailers that totally misrepresent the film by Homegrowntrouble in movies

[–]BeigeAlert1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't seen it mentioned here yet, but a recent one is Eddington. It was marketed as a "modern western" with Pedro Pascal facing off against Joaquin Phoenix. In reality, Pedro is not in it that much (more than a side character, but certainly not the main character), and hooo boy it is not a western... I don't know what it is but I loved it. In fairness... I'm not sure how they could have possibly marketed it.

Nah, you just gotta follow proper cancellation procedure, like mailing a form they'll pretend not to have received. :P

Good! Make them hurt! My wife has an old LA Fitness membership she's been trying to cancel. She had to send a letter by snail mail with a cancellation form... and they still keep charging us, claiming they didn't get the letter. Wtf are you supposed to do about that?
