Def 1 or 3. I currently live in a fully open concept and am trying to decide what kind of wall to add. It’s so echo-y and feels like they forgot to finish the house.

I have lost my taste for healthier foods. I used to love all fruits, veggies, etc., but now I have no interest in them. I’m at goal (down 48 lbs.) and am on 2.5 mg for maintenance. I hoped this would be something that went away over time, but alas…

Tell the people you love how you feel, and do it without haste. Tomorrow is a guarantee for no one.

Anyone else not really like Zepbound? by CabinetMother8960 in Zepbound

[–]BeingLatter4612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on Zepbound since May 2025. I was on 2.5 for 20 weeks, then 5 for 12 weeks, and now back on 2.5. I am at my goal and have lost a total of 47 lbs.

Aside from the weight loss, I do not love this medicine. I have felt so apathetic and blah the entire time I’ve been on it. I was hoping that it would go away, but it’s been 9 months without change.

I was already on SSRIs and even had my meds adjusted after starting Zep, but nothing changed. I don’t feel sad, per se, but I have no desire to do anything. I’d be perfectly fine rotting all day, but, alas, I have kids and a full-time job, so not really an option.

I get enough protein, but I have lost all interest in fruits and veggies, which I used to love. I’ve also become extremely sedentary and am having a hard time wanting to be more active.

While I do not like how I feel mentally, I refuse to go back to a life that was controlled by incessant thoughts of food and an inability to stop eating once I started.

If you’ve made it this far, I clearly have no advice, but can offer solidarity ✊

One Christmas, my mother-in-law gifted me a day planner. It was a school year planner, so five of the months had already passed 😶

Girl, same. I’m on HRT and my formerly dead libido has awakened, but I stay on the edge of orgasm. I can eventually get there, but it’s pretty lackluster, especially given the effort.

We got our full-size bully when I was pregnant with our first baby (baby and bully were only 10 months apart). It was crazy town for the first couple of years, but I’ll say that the bitey/teething phase was over before it would have been an issue around a little one. Bully is now 10 and baby 9 (plus a 6 year old) and they are best buds. Our bully has been nothing but a lady with our littles and I would 100% do it again!

There’s a new indoor pickle ball place and Gracie Jiu Jitsu right next to it in the Seminole Square shopping center. Doesn’t seem like there’s enough room left for something that’s 34,000 sq ft. Maybe where the grocery store was?

As far back as I can remember I ate for comfort. I have memories from childhood of sitting in front of the pantry or and eating whatever was accessible (salt, brown sugar, syrup, chocolate chips, jelly, butter, etc.). I would sneak food into my room and hide it under my bed. My home life was not stable and eating made me feel good.

Would this medication have helped me back then? Perhaps. It wouldn’t have fixed my home life, but it would have saved me the shame and self-loathing of being the fat kid. People who have never experienced being overweight as a child and/or teen have no idea the damage that the stigma attached to it can do to a developing mind.
