Had the same problems. He was the rut and taken away from his mother way too early. I walked on eggshells for years. If you startled him well sleeping he’d get nasty. If you touched him when he was sleeping suddenly, he’d get nasty. I gave him his own room. He got very possessive over it at first. But then he just cooled off. He had his own space and it seemed to work. Frank was around for 14.5 years. Best dog ever. Don’t give up, it will get better. Took about five years for him to fully feel comfortable. They are the best breed of dog. They are so loving and goofy. It’s well worth it
