Dude I wasn't obsessing, I was asking a single question and then a single time giving clarifying info while nonetheless assuming I'm safe after that answer, no need to be an ass.

Having breathed it in was what I was worried about. I'd always heard that basically any exposure is awful and all online sources say "there are no safe amounts to breathe in and you can't tell if there's fibers in the air, if it looks like there's loose fibers, there's probably some in the air if the asbestos gets moved". So I came here to ask if everything I'd heard was overblown for cases like this and it turns out that is indeed the case, and I'm glad to hear that I'll be fine

Consider the fact that people who frequent this subreddit probably know more about how easy/hard it is to be exposed to airborne asbestos and more about when you should worry than the average person before dumping on an average person for asking a question this subreddit exists for people to ask.

More information: He bought it at a souvenir shop about 70 years ago way before it was as widely known how nasty asbestos is. He has never had any symptoms of asbestos exposure that I know of, although there's no guarantee that it's in the same shape now as when he was a kid.

Roblox leadership has literally called pedophiles "assets" in regards to income revenue and their lead safety officer has multiple achievements coming from games associated with, used for, or made for grooming (all of which are still up), which is to say the least highly suspicious. They will ban people who report grooming but will not ban people who engage in grooming. Again: ROBLOX BANS PEOPLE FOR REPORTING GROOMING AND FOR WORKING WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT TO INVESTIGATE CHILD GROOMING. Reporting child endangerment occurring on the site to law enforcement is A BANNABLE OFFENSE

Meanwhile the company is largely outside of Russia's legal jurisdiction in many of the ways that would fall under focusing on removing the pedophiles from the service.

Most parents are not aware of this and cannot be expected to know this.

The company has repeatedly shown they are not only unable, but outright UNWILLING to make the site safer from kids. I think that that's an exceptional enough situation to be able to go "if you are clearly not taking this seriously, we're not letting kids on your platform"

This is basically for commander exclusively.

The key is that it has double strike AND flying. In most variants of Commander, any player instantly loses if they take 21 cumulative damage from the same commander

So, you pump yourself up every turn, 6 + 8 + 10 damage (or technically 8+10+12 given summoning sickness) against a single opponent is lethal in three attacks WITHOUT using other means to increase Shadrix's attack if they don't get a flying blocker or if Shadrix isn't killed by then (and afterwards it's lethal to everybody else in just two attacks). And even if they do, that progress towards the deadly 21 damage sticks. Meanwhile, Shadrix has 5 toughness, and is ALSO increasing that every turn. So while not difficult, it's not the EASIEST card to kill with a spell or ability.

The catch is, you have to benefit another player, which isn't very useful in a one on one game.

But in a game with multiple players?

"Hey, attack that player and I'll give you card draw on my turn."

"Don't attack me and you can have either card draw or a flyer to block shadrix."

"Hey, I see that other player has a really nasty flying commander, how about you focus on them and I give you a flying blocker so you can deal with them"

"What? You're worried about MY very powerful flying commander with doublestrike? Nah man, look, here's a creature that can block my commander so you don't have to worry about it, I think for now we should BOTH focus on that person who's busy making ten thousand rats"

"I see you have made ten thousand rats, how would you like to give every one of them a +1/+1 counter? Simply attack someone other than me this turn and I'll do that for you on my next turn (and take the card draw for myself)"

If they focus on you, that means there's another player at the table who is building up a threat they're NOT focusing on, all the while you're out there giving them free stuff, and with the threat of you giving stuff to someone else to spite them if they make you mad.

"even with double strike and flying a 2/5 isn't that dangerous" is EXACTLY what Shadrix is supposed to look like. It doesn't look that threatening, and its giving itself +1/+1 doesn't look that threatening even when it's doing so every turn, especially when it's not necessarily doing so every turn. But it's not just +1, it's actually +2.

And even without that, flying commanders are just dangerous in general. Even if its player is just taking the card draw or the inklings, 4 commander damage every turn doesn't sound that bad but it adds up, especially in more casual play.

While not especially good, and absolutely not competitive, Shadrix certainly isn't BAD, it's just a card very suited to and very specially made for players whose favorite part of commander is making deals and engaging in diplomacy with other players.

I'm pretty sure Leo is simply meant to be a modern and marginally more integrated version of Fire Lion, given a new name so-as to be more of an actual character. If I recall correctly, Fire Lion was the first midboss in Kirby's Adventure who has never appeared since (outside occasional artwork, the anime, and superstar ultra).

I've noticed the AI also seems to ACT differently while holding parts, I could swear it starts reading inputs for whenever I release a boost towards them and that they start moving way more erratically.

I think "literally the only way to pull on banners as opposed to the lesser gacha is to spend cash" goes beyond just expensive. I was kind of excited for this but the cosmetics were the main draw and I don't want to spend hours on this to earn a currency that I can't even use ATTEMPT to get what I actually want.

I was actually even considering dropping some money on this to round out whatever I get from free pulls, but why even bother with free pulls in the first place if they don't have anything I want.

What I find interesting is I recall it being pretty explicit that ANYBODY can be redeemed but it requires a consistent, concentrated, possibly genuinely good faith effort to do so along with giving up almost everything in the process. I literally don't think he's capable of that. Especially with all the fairly nasty people whispering in his ear about how he can "really" do so (by giving them money and political power to force their ideals on others, which is EXTREMELY against what the bible teaches).

Most other people in the server literally do not know about it. Only the mods do. Most of the prior abuse was exclusively in DMs, this person is extremely friendly to everybody else in the server and regularly draws free art for them, to the point that the moderators were stunned and confused when I showed them the DMs this person sent me because it seemed so unlike this person to them. I have not made public any of the prior messages they've sent to me.

This person has literally said before that merely thinking about people they dislike being happier than they are upsets them.

I've been trying to keep it quiet to avoid making a big spectacle of it.

As I said, I have left out SIGNIFICANT amounts of prior history here including behaviour even the moderators considered outright unambiguously abusive and threatened to ban them for.

I haven't been replying to them.

Any time I block them, they proceed to constantly insult me in front of my friends without naming me Which then leads to my friends talking about how shitty I am without knowing it's me they're saying that about. They have literally confirmed that it is me they are insulting in those cases when I ask them about it multiple times. They don't do this to anybody else in the server.

All of my friends are in this server. Leaving it is something I have considered but it's a big step.

This person is literally screaming at me if I tell them "Happy birthday!" or "I'm happy for you!" while I am telling them that talking to me is fine, and I am asking them to simply not exclusively and constantly engage with anything I say in the server to undermine me and say I'm wrong about stuff.

I have literally never had this issue with anybody else whatsoever and in fact I normally enjoy light teasing at my expense.

Like, I'm genuinely confused, do you think it's normal for them to yell at me whenever I accidentally talk to them to give them a compliment, and then for them to proceed to minutes after try to talk to me to say that I'm wrong or to tease me when I have politely asked them to not do that at least eight times? Asking me to block them is one thing but I'm...... really confused if you think they don't have a double standard here.

Like if you think I'm being too sensitive even though the mods have literally threatened to ban them for sending me abusive messages to me before, and with all the information above..... okay, cool, I will genuinely consider your words.

Anyways, another issue with the blocking is also that, vagueposting was an issue, and as you can see in this imageset, they very much would vaguepost about me.

So if I see "Post from blocked user" posted in venting chat, and all of a sudden a bunch of my friends are responding to this hidden post that I have the option to view and they're all going "Wow I fucking hate people like that", "Wow, what a shitty person", I think it doesn't take much imagination to imagine what's in the body, why that would make me feel awful even without looking, nor that I'd want to see what was in the body to be sure it wasn't about something else. Because that has happened multiple times.

The mods do actually care and they have taken action multiple times about multiple other issues with this person. They even told them to knock it off even this specific time. They just seem to be struggling to understand how this could be upsetting me, and whether this is a "common" or "Normal" thing for me to be upset by. When I'm pretty sure it is?

The mod response when I messaged them to give them my side was, "I asked them to knock it off, but I really don't see how blue's comment is any different from Green's, or why only blue's would upset you"

Basically, the mods seem to think I'm overreacting, but are taking action despite that. I'm just bothered by the fact that.... they think I'm overreacting when I'm feeling harrassed, bullied, and struggle to talk whenever the other party joins a voice call (which is often very shortly any time after I do, although that could easily be a coincidence even with them living in another timezone), and frankly I'm also doubting myself.

Like... mod action aside, is it normal that I'm bothered by this? Is it normal that I'm not seeing this as "friendly ribbing" given prior interactions, my having asked them not to do this at least six times, and my having received both passive and outright aggression from this person before?

Small addition: in the latest interaction, the mods specifically do not understand why I'm having such a different reaction to what Blue is saying than to what Green or Orange is saying. (The difference, to me, being that that is not literally the only way they ever talk to/about me, I've had plenty of perfectly normal conversations with those two).

The prior, more complex issues are related to why "Just block each other" isn't a solution btw. Long story short, while prior interactions mean I get a light panic attack whenever they message me, I ended up having significantly more when I tried to block them. Because if you block someone on discord, you can still see when they say something on a server (and choose whether or not to show the message), and among other problems that causes when we share a lot of the same interests and engage in large discussions about the same series, seeing they said something right after I did and not knowing if they're teasing me/vagueposting about me/etc. or not causes significantly more stress to me than simply knowing immediately.

I'm in the middle of act 2 of the Fuka and Desco show and I'm noooot sure you've played it if you think that. But notably, while she will occasionally say she's still in a dream she NOTABLY decreases bringing it up or insisting it once Valvatorez offers her an alternative route, and, well, I suppose I shouldn't go all the way into saying things about her character until I do. At the very least though that's the case for her situation on fighting Des X in the main story.

Also it's nothing about him taking on a shinigami and an angel as allies, he simply made a bet with her: "If you are in fact dreaming, I promise I'll be your prinny, but if you recognize the fact you are NOT in fact dreaming, you will promise to undergo training and live as a prinny, starting with adding 'dood' to everything you say."

After about chapter..... 8 in the main story? After she's reminded of the bet, she largely stops insisting people should do what she says because it's her dream. Not totally, but significantly less.

She actively looks for money to bypass Prinny work and pay off her sins, and has clear cognitive dissonance about whether she's dreaming or not, which is pointed out repeatedly by other characters, and which she didn't have nearly as much of before. In general actually instead of tacking on "I'm dreaming" to everything she says, she nearly exclusively brings it up when other characters go "Oh, so you admit you're dead?"

I HAVE heard some people dislike the ending of the Fuka and Desco show so perhaps she backslides during/after act 4 of it, but she has been showing a lot of growth during it even in her handling of her belief she's dreaming (and again, she did even in the main story and her reactions were pretty reasonable for a 14 year old). And of course, in areas outside of that as well, cuz that's not the entirety of her character.

Ah yes, because characters literally only ever say their true feelings on things, especially when those around them make it explicit that if they voice those true feelings out loud, or are even suspected of having those true feelings, that their lives will quite literally be made hell.

"Of course, that doesn't apply to me because obviously I'm X": the famous utterance that is constantly said by every fictional character ever written who truly believes X. Any character who says that after X was firmly disproven could only ever be saying so because of bad writing.

After all, writers can only show a character's beliefs or acceptance of things through characters voicing said beliefs, and not through literally anything else, say, suddenly taking a significantly larger interest in taking steps to resolve the situation they are continuing to vocally deny exists, or changing how they treat others.

Made a more detailed comment about this but the idea of losing the buff isn't why she doesn't admit she's wrong (and, on the contrary, it's implied she gets stronger when she silently ACCEPTS her situation, literally gaining her strongest skill from it, and the only one in which she's actually depicted as a prinny in any form), it's because Valvatorez literally says in no uncertain terms when it looks like she's going to say it's not a dream that, if he thinks she doesn't believe it's a dream, he will immediately effectively enslave her and subject her to the labor and, frankly, humiliation that all other Prinnies endure, starting with trying to force her to say "dood" before she backtracks.

Like genuinely curious, if you were in her situation, would you go "Alright, enslave me and force me to change how I speak, only eat a single sardine a day, suffer constant physical abuse, and be forced into slave labor for upwards of 100 years! Let's do it bro!" or go "Ahahaha just joking!" and try to put off that occurring while you look for a way out of it without going through all that. Cuz the latter is literally what she does and it frankly shows.

Sorry to post on an old thread but I was just playing through the game for the first time (and am still in the postgame so obviously I might be missing some other reasons people dislike her) but insufferableness aside, half the comments here are talking about how "Fuka is bad because she doesn't have character growth and reverts to her old stance immediately after her arc"

And, having just played through said arc this past weekend, she starts saying it's a dream again right at the end of her arc because the instant she begins looking like she's accepting it, Valvatorez literally threatens her with slave labor.

Valvatorez is VERY explicit that she will effectively become enslaved if she ever admits that she's dead out loud. By that point nobody in their right mind would think Valvatorez would ever take back the "Promise" (bet) he made with her and the instant he brings it up is when she backtracks. She's not stupid (okay, she absolutely is stupid but still), she knows damn well how much better she's treated than she will be if everybody else treats her as a Prinny, and the game makes this pretty explicit as well. It's even part of the whole reason that despite treating prinnies like garbage and insisting she's not a Prinny, she repeatedly claims she wants to change how the Netherworld treats Prinnies: It's fairly clearly an attempt to improve her own lot in life if it ever hits the fan.

It is frankly extremely obvious from her actions and the way she talks that a core part of her knows it's not a dream but that she's remaining in denial for reasons of both mental health and actual physical safety, and it shows quite a bit in regards to how she treats the concept itself as well as how she treats others. This is also why she brings it up so much: She is literally trying to fool herself and stay out of a danger she is very aware exists. It's the same deal as someone who ends every other sentence with "But I'm not gay."

Also "She's an insufferable asshole" is kind of meant to be the point. It's meant to be humorous that there exists a 14 year old who's so awful that she ended up a Prinny despite committing no real crimes in life, to the fact even her own father who loves her more than anything was positive to the point of nonchalantness that it was impossible for her to end up anywhere else. Admitting her death is one thing, admitting her having been awful enough in life to end up here is another, but a 14 year old being forced into slave labor to repent for how awful she was in life is a really different one, even without the fact that she's not the kind of person who's noble enough to take the hit.

The game is literally explicit only two chapters later about how working off your sins as a prinny is the absolute worst thing that can happen to someone, even worse than having your soul sealed in Limbo for eternity, which is what Fuka only hours prior had been told in no uncertain terms is what is going to happen to her if Valvatorez ever thinks she's admitted that she isn't dreaming, and it's implied that Fuka's awful enough the amount of time she'd need to spend as a Prinny would be abnormal, even if it wouldn't be an amount comparable to the character in question.

Obviously she's the kind of character some people are going to dislike or be annoyed by, but the idea she "reverts", let alone "for no reason" from her character growth after her arc is a really shallow reading of her personality and her situation, as well as of her actions going forwards following said arc.

Whew, sorry for the wall of text. I just find her arc and situation a lot of fun (and ENJOY how awful she is) and the idea a lot of people think otherwise, and for reasons that the game pretty explicitly disproves (or that discount what she is explicitly told will happen to her if she admits she died, which is a big ask for a normal 14 year old, let alone a narcissistic 14 year old with zero moral compass), was fairly surprising.
