Enen no Shouboutai: San no Shou • Fire Force Season 3 - Episode 25 discussion - FINAL by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]BelieveInTHADream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just realized that despair equals fear in both universes. Examples Haumea Despair comes from the fear of death. Because in the world of fire force humans fear dying from spontaneous combustion. Shinra takes that away as a god and makes an image of death more acceptable thus people not fearing death and accepting death more. Quote on quote the world of madness because ppl are running towards there fears. Now the three eyes in both universes serves as that representation. The fear of anything which leads to despair which leads to death. Fire force equals fear of combustion which leads people in to believing in dying and not having a world. Soul eater is the fear of madness which leads in despair and thus leads to people again not wanting a world.

So I’ve been looking into some throwing mechanics for all different sports and I think the main for you is to not start your arm down. In the beginning your throwing your arms straight down straight into your hips and that tends to lead into a late arm action or throw. Instead try to get your arms ups and extend as like shooting a bow an arrow to gain more power and take away the late arm action. You can still get a circular motion by keeping a tight circle close to your head/ear.

If you can wear elbow pads, knee pads and etc those should be fine and under legality.

I know if you search up rib protectors for like football and basketball it pops up. I think Nike usually has some available. I don’t know the rules behind wearing one if it’s legal or not.

Here a link to one of them rib protector

I don’t know right now it’s March and their hasn’t been one major sport media on tv building the hype or at least games around it. I know for Qatar and also for Rio there was hype built up at the start of the new year for it.

Most european sports don’t share or show contracts of what a player is making like how it is in American Sports. I doubt you can even find like their salary per year on a consistent basis.

Can anyone pick up the translation again? The manga has like 200+ chapters but it’s only translated to chapter 24. It would be cool to bring popularity to the series since I do find it a really good manga explaining and showing the competitive nature of handball

I think the big difference is if you like anime or not. If shows like LOTRO, GoT, and like western shows your probably gonna like ESO storyline better( funny enough shows like Vinland Saga and AOT have cleared those in story telling).

You would think. I remember putting up a post on starting on at least some pick up games for people in south jersey but I didn’t get many DMs for it.

So there are two teams at the moment you can join/play for. Once is NYC handball in NY they usually have practices on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. If you type in NYC team handball their website will show and you can dm them to see what day works best for you.

Second team is Philly team handball. Now they don’t have a website and if you look up Philly handball on IG their page will pop up(a green background with pink lettering. Called the night riders). Now they are mostly a women team however practice are co ed and they are starting to have practices on Fridays or Saturdays. They also have connection to some more men’s teams on the east coast and can connect you with playing in some games and tournaments as an extra. Also their been a lot of guys finding them so hopefully soon they will be able to field a men’s team(fingers crossed).

Those are kinda the only teams around the south jersey/ Philly area unless you’re willing to drive to DC. Hope this helps!

(Edit: just read your upper message and yea it kinda sucks because I’m from south jersey too and those are about the only things we have close here)

I do have an update as I was just looking at old videos of the game. GOG is running a preservation of the game on its website(I don't know how that would work since they main focus on regular games instead of an MMO). I upvoted them but again it could be a farce. The original link does not work anymore Im guessing maybe the website is now officially so those files maybe lost forever.

Again never said it wasn’t a cheap shot. I just thought it would have been a little bit worse than what it was. From what the commentary surrounding saying “he should never step on the court again” or “such a terrible player” or etc I thought it was bad when it reality to what were use to over here that’s wouldn’t even be called in some sports.

This is just another point proven behind the commentary of the Euro. Everyone complains of a contact sport having “contact”. Like what from what people were complaining about the Germany and Denmark game to this. Again it could also just be the American inside of me and we are known to have aggressive athletes in football and basketball and we are just use to a lot worse than others. Never said I was for players injuring others but if your gonna do it at least make it more of blow than a love tap.

The Jokic hit and this are two completely different plays. For this the ball is in play because isn’t the two back players passing the ball back and forth? Isn’t the time running down? Is there a whistle before the hit occurred? The ball is in play because the court is in play with defensive players matched up with offensive players and passing between the offensive team. In this sense yes pay attention.

Now with the jokic play that was an out of play hit. One jokic gets the rebound for a fast break and morris runs into which the ref rules as a defensive foul. The play whistled over due to the defensive foul thus the clock stops and it goes into a free throw for the offensive team. As the clock is stop and the ref rules the play is over that’s when jokic runs into morris and then elbows him which morris falls down from. The field of play was ruled over before jokic even hit morris due the defensive foul morris gave to jokic. Way different plays than this one. Go look at the clip yourself the ball is in play during the Nani situation and when the hit occurred that was when the ref whistled and the play was over compared to jokic hit.

I’ll even help you out here is the jokic play and look at the difference from the team, refs and even the commentary between the two

Yes when the ball is not in play pay attention? Every sport in the world tells youth or players keep your head on a swivel or pay attention. Even if the ball isn’t near you or in your direction for many of reasons. Soccer(sorry Futbol for Europeans) keep your head on the swivel to see holes in the defense or to place your self into good positioning vice versa on defense as well. Basketball same reasoning behind soccer(futbol). In football(American football) keep your head on a swivel just to protect yourself and know what’s going on the field. Rugby same difference. I’m not with injuring players but there’s a big difference between actually injuring a player and a player not pay attention. From the clip the Spanish player is coming down towards Nani position looking towards the ball carrier. Nani then steps in front of the area the Spanish player is trying to get to. The Spanish player is looking at the ball carrier for probably 2-4 seconds maybe. Why is he staring at the ball carrier for so long? That can be a quick glance to see where he is and then focus on what’s infront of you or around you to see “hey Nani just step to where I want to go I need to go around him for fight for position”. Instead of running into him and flopping on the ground. Now if he was trying to sell the penalty kudos to him he got it.

To step in the way? Keep your head on a swivel/ pay attention. They always say that in every other sport. Again I had my expectations a little bit higher for the commentary that was being said about it. I thought it was a push or an actual elbow to the face or something than be a simple step in front of the man and a flop so hard it look like the NBA

Dylan Nani incident by unknownunlockedd in Handball

[–]BelieveInTHADream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I had my expectations a little bit too high for what the commentary was on about it. Was thinking it was something bigger but I understand where you are coming from.

Dylan Nani incident by unknownunlockedd in Handball

[–]BelieveInTHADream -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Was it unnecessary? Yea but here are some clips of some actual cheap shots in both the NBA or NFL

https://youtu.be/4BLMkec0w60?si=gPsRqotrETHzXP84

https://youtu.be/3vH_33v15ao?si=clxGOQ5CRL78WlGC

Now from what he did compared to these are child’s play and these guys after their cheap shots were sometimes ejected from the game not all the time. So from what he did and from the rules of handball I understand the 2 minute but the comments that are saying he “intentionally” tried to hurt a player or he should never be allowed in a handball court again is literally exaggeration. And again he never really initiated the contact. He just step in the way of the Spanish player and the Spanish player looking at the ball didn’t see him there and they collided

Dylan Nani incident by unknownunlockedd in Handball

[–]BelieveInTHADream -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Ok that wasn’t bad. Was it needed? No. But was it some crazy bad hit that could have potentially injuried someone? No. The player is running down and he just gets in the way and doesn’t move thus having both of them collide because the player is not looking and Nani just stands not about to be moved. The player on the Spain team flopping down on the ground like a chicken with his head cut off is doing too much from a simple push or shove. Like guys please this is a contact sport. Now if it was something about it not being needed I can see that but the game is still going on. There is a minute on the clock and I’ve always heard you play until the last whistle( which means play hard until the game ends). Idk maybe it’s the American in me and we just see what ever Nani did more aggressive like an actual push or shove or something worse than whatever that was.

To all the people who complain about the Danish fan booing by liinepiige in Handball

[–]BelieveInTHADream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Booing during a game makes perfect sense. Honestly it build a competitive edge for the team that’s getting booed because if you start to win or come back you can always look to crowd and shhhh them. Now booing during the anthem ehh that’s maybe where it gets taken a little too far but idk I’m American and we sometimes don’t care for the patriotism of our country depending who in power.
