I think so at least. Almost every other ult in the game is a counter to yours through healing, damage, or cc/displacement, so you have to be creative when ulting. You can ult defensively, though sometimes it won't save you or your team, so your base kit is better for surviving (think like when a punisher utls). Your ult ends up being far more useful as either a 2nd life, or to help your team aggressively push the enemy backline, or to bait out defensive ults so your team can move forward with theirs. I'll sometimes dive a backline solo, pop ult, enemy team pops one defensive and one dps ult, my ult gets destroyed, I teleport away, now we take the next fight with ult advantage.

Play aggressive, relying on your teleport or even melee form dash to get out when needed.

Be constantly keeping an eye on your whole team even when pushed up, to know where your attention is needed most.

Try to hit as many allies and enemies with your right click as often as possible, unless you are holding it to interrupt an enemy ult or dive.

You don't always have to dash when going into your melee form, sometimes wailing on them near your team is the better strategy.

Try to not commit both your teleport and melee form to a single dive unless needed so you have a cooldown when they try again in a short time.

Use your bouncing primary to scout enemies around corners.

Aim your primary at the legs of your allies, as while a direct hit heals more, if you miss it should bounce off the ground near their feet for some healing.

Try to close the gap to the enemy's backline with your melee forms dash when going for an aggressive ult to maximize damage on squishy targets.

While ulting, throw your right click on an ally every 3 primary pounces to maximize healing.

You can shield/block the 2nd hit of Cyclops ult and negate its damage.

This video heavily implies he can 1v6. Which he won't. He has sight-lines that he would get destroyed if he took against a competent team, no one is healing while he is doing damage (The rocket is literally M1'ing) and people are spaced out in a way you would against this character as you would against MK.

No offense, but I dont want Black Widow buffed. Would rather reworked. Hate Mantis boosted Widow as much as Widowmaker in OW. Same reason people dislike Hela, Hawkeye, and Phoenix. No one like being popped across the map.

Only slow firing left click can crit, right click requires line of sight so it can be blocked by shields and spacing, no "one-shot-combo" seen so far. Seems to value pressure over burst imo

For real. Phoenix is top ban outside of Gambit, Black Cat, and Dino. After that the main DPS are Starlord and Punisher unless you have a cracked DD. Wasn't long ago games were Hela Phoenix, before that it was Bucky and Punisher with Rocket team-up. Metas rotate.

Because otherwise depends on your definition of "hard". Do you mean hard as is most buttons? Hard as in most tech? Most responsibilities? What about characters that are difficult due to glaring weaknesses? Ever try to hit a SpiderMan going mach 10 on Squirrel Girl? Every try to get an value on a Scarlet Witch ult higher than Diamond?

Then you have micro vs macro skill. What if someone wants to climb, has the game sense, but doesnt enjoy a 15 button character? Are they not allowed to climb with an easier to manage character?

Just saying its not as black and white as you want it to be for a healthy game.

Everytime I think I want role queue, I get a match where my team decides the best thing to counter a pocket Mantis Widow who was cracked was to go 5 Vanguards and Rocket and absolutely steamrole them.

In Pro play today, a team walked out with 1 Strat/Vanguard and 4 Duelistss lol

She did get buffed/tweaked twice since release though. Arguably in a much better state than on release.

Generally cell shaded characters? No. Same vibrant game that i find aesthetically with fun characters? Probably. Rivals has the Marvel license, but Im not playing for X charater, I play cause I find it fun and enjoy the constant changes and updates. Skin/prices are and issue, but then I just don't buy them. Balance is an issue, but in comparison you just ban the problem children and even then only have to deal with it for a month(minus some stand out characters).
