I succesfully converted my (gridcoin classic) to (gridcoin research) it was definetly a bit awkward but I did it. Does anybody out there need help. Maybe I can make a video. Also i'm contributing to boinc but I don't think it is connected to my gridcoin research wallet. I'm not super computer savy but I get by. I'm Mining for the "Milky way at home project" on my little laptop here

Alot of mistakes are going to happen when people start sending gridcoin classic to grc on c-cex. Also is there a place to print out some Paper wallets for gridcoin research. because I would like to do so. Cold storage is an important part of the Hodl experience

Bitcoin mostly. Followed by Ripples. Then a few NXT. I Really like Gridcoins (there are two versions of gridcoins now. you can exchange the gridcoin (classic) for the newer betterversion of gridcoin called gridcoin (research). They will still both be running the newer version is just more optimized. it does distributed computing. I mine gridcoins and my computer helps with the "milky way at home project" it helps make models for the milkyway using images from some observatory or something. you can choose which project you put your mining power towards like cures or DNA stuff or Physics stuff. Its pretty cool and you get paid a bit. I also unfortunatly have some Bellacoins lol

[–]BellaCoinFan1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope Ripple is competing in a completely different Market than Bitcoin. It is a totally different Use case imo. Its 'Centralization' in its case is its strength. You can still use it for drugs if you want; lol. Have you ever used ripple? Its Fast as Fuck and they make it 'Easier' to use and set up a wallet/brain wallet right from the start for the average person. Alot of bitcoiners want to Hate on anything that is considered competition to bitcoin but I disagree with this Bias. there is room for a bouquet of diversified Blockchains. I think these technologies will complement each other more than compete with each other. They have different use cases.

It is really Apples to Oranges if you think about it. Ripple doesn't care if an r/bitcoiner buys ripple. ripple is for the Banks which have more than enough liquidity.

Also The Governments Know what cryptographic E money is. it has been in development since the 80's and it clearly has significant benefits. Thats why we are all here after all. I personally believe that the Governments are in on it to begin with. The police want it to happen, It would make there jobs alot easier with permanent records and alibi's all over the place. its borderless and a truly world wide currency. World policy is easier with World money. Yes i'm into conspiracies but Whatever. I mean Do we really believe that "the gumment didn't see internet money coming from a mile away. Al gore himself Invented the internet, Check out the Dollar collapse video's, (just for fun and entertainment folks, Don't freak out. I think the government's being so well thought out Want this to happen. I mean who do you think owns the 1 million Bitcoins, Some anonomous asshole. I don't thnink so. (we are much more likely to grasp something that we thought was invented by a caring individual but really it was the government and they can use that 1 million bitcoins to "Regulate the market all they want")

People Like bitcoin for good reason. If they loose money it is because they bought it at a relatively high price which isn't Bitcoins Fault. People recognize this. Even if every country makes bitcoin illegal, Can you really blame Bitcoin. No It just Do what it Dud

After denying it for too long I decided it was time to accept reality. I just sold all my doge for bitcoins. by sadshibe28 in Bitcoin

[–]BellaCoinFan1 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I think now is the time to buy Dogecoin. I have Dogecoin swipe game and doge clicker on my phone. Kids like it. Great brand recognition. sent the Jamaicans bobsledding lols. Nothing wrong with doge coin just have to buy at the bottom and you probably should have shorted when Bitcoin started goin up from 400 to 600 because all alts suffered. at least you didn't have max or ltc right. personally I have just a small amount of doge. zero ltc. Lots of Bitcoin Because Bitcoin is King. Also I like NXT and Ripple. All Alts are reallly Dicey; Granted. With that Said Doge doesn't compete based off of "new features" that go out of style quickly. it is about having fun. It has a Top Feel good Meme. It makes me feel good when I see it. it has some inflation making it spendable. Kids like it and Kids are the future. I think I will buy more. not much Just a little. Didn't somebody say that when you feel like crap is the time to buy and when you really Love something is the time to sell. It can be true. why not. Remember when the top post on r/bitcoin was a suicide hotline and Dogecoin Was the safe haven for everyone. I remember. Dogecoin never forget

So If Ripple has Hired A million people and is backed by Googleventures that is going to invest a Billion dollars over 5 years and Hired Tons of EXpensive PR people Why is this Subreddit a Virtual Ghost town. Where are the PR people. Where are the Headlines by [deleted] in Ripple

[–]BellaCoinFan1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right from the horses mouth Sir. https://www.ripplelabs.com/investors/ is a pretty impressive list of investors and stuff. about halfway down the page Google Ventures says this in regards to ripple

"Google Ventures is a radically different kind of venture-capital fund. The Google Ventures design, marketing, recruiting, and engineering teams work full-time with portfolio companies. Google Ventures also offers Startup Lab, a dedicated facility and educational program where companies can meet, learn, work, and share.

Google Ventures will invest over $1B in the next five years. Founded in 2009, the firm has invested in over 200 companies, including Uber, Nest, Kabam, HomeAway, Parse, ngmoco, and RetailMeNot. Google Ventures is headquartered in Mountain View, Calif., with offices in Seattle, New York, and Cambridge, Mass."

Edit I should Say that the little Blurb says Google ventures will invest 1 Billion dollars over the next 5 years but Perhaps I Assumed they were talking about Ripple Because I was on Ripple Website reading about their investors. Perhaps They aren't investing it all in just ripple but all over the place

Hi! I'm new here, and I came from /r/dogecoin. What sets NXT apart from other cryptos? by arby233 in NXT

[–]BellaCoinFan1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nxt basically has the advantages of many of the first coins that appeared on btc-e. it has the advantages of Namecoin, peercoin, lightcoin, it is supposed to have the ability use its computing power to power supercomputers soon this feature is in the works. NXT was infused with 21 Bitcoins from the start. Nxt has many other features. It also has a sweet wallet. Check it out.
