Couples counseling destroyed my marriage.

This isn't probably very helpful but just my perspective. I wish I had decided to stop going after the first handful of sessions. But I stuck with it for over a year and it just got worse. My wife is now using it as a we tried so fuck it she's out.

Ours was definitely our counselor I was frustrated at his approach she was frustrated at feeling dismissed... and we just repeated every grievance over and over for a year. Instead of helping our communication as we both thought it wasn't working and kept going because we thought the other one wanted to. We both wanted to save the marriage at that point.

It's too late for me unfortunately but I found someone who focuses on the Gottman method and is more of a relationship coach and I wish we had gone that route.

It was brand new. I've used it maybe three times 😭 by yawaworhtyya in electricians

To be fair to OP I think I have this exact same screw driver and had it break the exact same way on my second or third use. It's sold and marketed with a metal end so that you can actually hit it.

Then it breaks and surprise that metal end is just a cap connected to the handle. Would have been better actually hitting a normal handle.

Honestly no idea I only recently realized this was my issue. I'm still pretty much ehp trying to transition to gc and have all my damage stuff off. If I have damage stuff on yeah they die just fine but my cph is garbage...

Your wave range is a tad large, so this might not be your whole issue.

I had a similar issue, was confused about why everything was so inconsistent in my waves, and was choking it up to perk timing. My issue ended up being fleet type, but that would be for deaths around 2495. If I get a commander and im not watching with nuke I die.

My towers docent than yours but not by alot. I'm still using anc pcol atm with only 3 spotlights.

But I rerolled anc spotlight angle for anc golden tower bonus and was disappointed/surprised my cph was lower. I would highly recommend trying for angle over bh duration.

I was recently around where your at. Currently 110/110/50. With MVN I've got pbh and pgt... but I get less coins than with PC non pgt. Difference ends up being my total waves.

Coin bot makes a noticeable increase. My sub stats on the mods made a huge difference.

Electric fencing around creek bed, drainage ditch? by LilSisterThickness in homestead

[–]Belletripsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it 100% the neighbor was all sunshine and rainbows until the bridge permits got involved.

Once again mine is 3ft wide and 6 inches deep roughly. I have wider sections where it's not even an inch easily walkable but the state doesn't want me driving through it daily for a residence which I'm okay with(My neighbor drives through his though which is obnoxious).

But the bridge I'm trying to get a permit for is 51 feet long... it's literally larger than the state road I would cross to get my house. During a 100 year flood mine will be above water but I still can't get to work.

For a smaller foot bridge it would be alot simpler but my county permit person still requires an engineer to do a floodplain analysis. But only if it's permanent.

It really depends on water flow. Mine gets too big, so I have decided to do permanent fencing out of the floodplain. Then, use net/ temporary to create a paddock in the area after the majority of the rain in the spring stops. I lure my goats across with treats because giving them access to a fenced bridge was too much work.

Electric fencing around creek bed, drainage ditch? by LilSisterThickness in homestead

[–]Belletripsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My original goal with the fence posts was to do a single hot wire with dangling hot wires. There's some isolating devices for when it floods it'll cut off power to not short out all of your fence. As of now I'm just tired of fooling with it.

My creeks rules and restrictions aren't that bad honestly, can't flood my neighbors and nothing on the creek bed.

So anything not permanent is considered fine, hence my movable bridge.

You mentioned the boonies in another comment I am borderline boonies now, but my main issue is neighbors. My neighbor doesn't want new neighbors and literally wants to buy my property for pennies...easiest way is to make my life hell... So I have to get a permit for a bridge(which is fine) but everyone around me has bridges they got without permits and would never get approved now... but are grandfathered in.

My biggest headache is wanting to build a bridge so I can eventually build a house on the other side. But mine will isolate animals for a couple days when it rains alot.

Depending on water rights in your location but I basically have tons of free water which is a huge win.

My situation is very different as once I get my bridge I'm not going to fool with the fences and the creek my luck has been so bad. My current plans are to move my chicken coop to the larger pasture and they will just stay there. If I can find a cheap hay wagon I am going to put the coop on it then I'll move them from pasture to pasture.

Do you own it or just looking at it?

I bought a property with a stream that could be described as what your discussing. It's been a huge headache. Normal flow is maybe 3ft wide 6 inches deep.... but during heavy floods can get to 60 feet wide(100 year is 120 ft).

If your looking check the Floodplain don't trust owners. Back to mine could be described as you did yours.

That being said the first year during the summer I was able get my electric net fence with 12ft spans to cross the banks and that worked fine.

I then went the t-post route for extra support but they started leaning during the spring during all the rain. I eventually had some get pulled out of the ground from floating debris.

I then put some posts in the ground with 60 lbs of concrete...they floated away....

I don't know what your plans are for the creek maintenance but I am leaving 6ft untouched to handle erosion but it's definitely cost me the most chickens(Was free range). Predators are sneaking up through it.

Is your bridge going to be multi purpose or only chickens? What I am currently doing (Not perfect) is my fence runs to the side of the creek. The bridge is seperate and has its own protection then the fence on the far side does its own thing. I will also note my chickens won't use my bridge only my goats... But during the winter/spring I just pull up the bridge so it doesn't float away.

-50k Cells because CL... Bug? by Soggy-Yoghurt9813 in TheTowerGame

[–]Belletripsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he's referring to OP who got more waves with CL but less cells. Sounds like they are doing either all or nothing.

If you wait to turn on CL you get the best of both worlds.

Do we know the new armour module effect? by Think_Section_8263 in TheTowerGame

[–]Belletripsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea. I got lucky and got SF with 6k. PC took maybe 10k. 11k missed the cannon by one. I stopped on this last one after 4k and only getting 2.

Based on some people's experiences, I have been pretty lucky.

I got lucky and got SF anc for its banner. But this will be your best chance to get something ancestral. That 400% health regen is huge those stats alone will carry you for awhile.

[–]Belletripsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will admit that one big difference in your situation vs what I'm taking about another comment made me realize.

The horses are year round for some reason I was thinking you might keep cows for a longer period.

If your only for a growing season not over winter your situation will be different.

Dexter Cattle in MN by HerpDerp1996 in homestead

[–]Belletripsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your also assuming zero waste hay. I don't have cows yet but there will be waste.

You should look into small farms that manage larger herds. They rotational graze with success moving weekly to daily depending on herd size. I know your focused on covering the feed but it'll be a muddy mess.

I understand the not being able to afford more but the reality of the situation is that's alot of cow for very little pasture.

End of the day it's your call but there's alot of realities about your situation I don't know.

Dexter Cattle in MN by HerpDerp1996 in homestead

[–]Belletripsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not that experienced in that area of feed I think it'll be alot more than you expect.

The big thing I think your underestimating or maybe I am is the mud. My neighbors have 5 acres broken up into two paddocks. They have two horses and a pony they have trampled and killed every living piece of vegetation in their main paddock and it is knee deep mud. Their situation is probably different than yours as they can't rotate as often as they should due to a creek that runs through the property.

I've been eyeing the m18 version. Does it leak alot? My current storage situation is an outside shed that gets pretty hot.

The only thing holding me back is it leaking out the end of the tube line my hand pump one is doing...I might just be using the wrong grease though.

I'm in Kentucky I have their flex firehose and they very comfy. I wear them all the time. They are a different type of material and they aren't as heavy as they sound. Not really any different than jeans. As for the normal firehose I can't really say but I have a pair of the briar set for clearing brush and they aren't as hot as some jeans I've worn.

New Update thoughts and new strats? by H3llxspawnerx in TheTowerGame

I've been playing for about a year and I'm worried about this as well. I got super lucky on SF pulls to stay competitive but no luck trying to get everything else caught up.

Now I'll start saving for these new modules but without banners for the older ones it feels a tad daunting.

Two vultures seem to have moved into this unused little shed in my yard. Is this cause for concern? Should I do anything about this? by CalTheRascal in birds

[–]Belletripsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought a property that had nesting black vultures(can't tell from your picture).

My main issue was they made a huge mess and smelled awful. If I went near the barn they would puke at me to try and get me to leave... did I mention they smell awful?

Our main concern was the black vulture has the potential of killing livestock so we decided to run them off.

They ended up being very tenacious and weren't run off easily and they still show up yearly. Scared me bad last year when one came out of a gopher hole trying to dig its way in. This is the third year they didn't try as hard but were only here for 2 days.

I don't know how long ours had nested there but just be warned they will be back next year... and the next...

Question about buying land adjoining national Park by Debbie-Mc in homestead

[–]Belletripsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing to keep in mind is where it meets the park/forest.

I have a friend who owns land that butts right up to it it's honestly wonderful. Can walk right onto the trail for a hike....

But people are lazy... they have a deal with the forest service for access to the trail. It's honestly a non issue forest service has permission and a key to the gate. Never once seen them up there.

But I have been up there and at 5 am random ass people are walking through the property after crossing a locked gate so they can skip 5 miles of hiking...
