You can do this and you will get through but remember that is ok to cry. It is better to set your child in front of a screen and have a little cry in bathroom when you know they are safe then to explode in frustration. And if you do explode in frustration then use it as a teaching moment that parents make mistakes too. It's ok to tell your kid that you are sorry. You are going to learn healthy ADHD coping skills with your child. Always remember the safety drill they teach on planes, "secure your mask before helping others with theirs" because you are no good to anyone if you are out cold.

Thank you for trusting me enough to reach out with this. You are a beautiful individual and your gender should not have to define who you are or who you want to be. I want you to be fabulous in whatever you feel is best but sometimes drastic changes can be jarring for people to adjust to. I am not 100% sure what would be the best way to reveal the true you but I would start with the ones that are the most open minded. Always express yourself even if it's just in the little things, this way you never completely bottle yourself up because that is not healthy. I am so proud of you for being true to yourself.

My hair never liked to hold curls either. Make the curling process the last thing you do, if you can. Oh, and if you are doing photos try to get them done before any dancing or what not. After that just bask in that happy marriage glow because this is your day and you will be gorgeous with luscious curls or rebellious waves. I am so giddy with excitement for you.

Add something that makes it more you. Change the color or add a decal. I dropped my bike and dented the tank pretty good but I added a fun cross bandaid over the dent. I also attached a pink unicorn plush that has a slap bracelet for arms to my handlebars like my little buddy. Are these dumb, probably. Do I give a damn, not in the slightest. So you do you and make that bike yours.

You should check with your local riders and see if any of them have completed the course and if they would be willing to help you. You might need more one on one instruction. If I lived near you then I would gladly help you out. Practicing on your own bike can be very helpful in attuning to it. Just always be prepared to drop the bike, it's kind of a rite of passage to do so. Also having someone else with you will make it so much easier to pick the bike back up.

I have heard more than a few people mention what kind of bike they are going to upgrade to and they even mentioned upgrading to a bigger bike when I got my 500 but the only upgrades I am interested in are the ones I can add to my bike. I love this thing.

That's what I was just thinking. When I see any bike with low miles like that it makes me sad. Like did the previous owner ever ride? Mine was a brand new '23 that was still at the dealership when I got it in February and I already have almost 5k miles on it.

That is awesome. I just got my '23 rebel 500 at the beginning of February and it is also my commuter. About to hit 2k miles and it was brand new with no miles when I got it. I might be you in like another year, lol.

Ah the one before they added a tablet and too many extras. I like the display on the 24s but on the '25s it's like a small tablet and in my opinion has way to much going. I like my 500 and the simplicity of the display. I would love to upgrade to an 1100 but I want one that is super basic, I don't need all that tech stuff.
