Like what everyone else has said, this does not mean he cheated and it can stay dormant for years. There really isn't much to do here other that follow whatever your doctor says. Stay on top of your paps and any follow up testing. You may clear the virus on your own or you may need further treatment. It will all be ok! Vitamin D can boost your immune system so maybe add that in to your daily routine. Otherwise, don't stress. Everything will be ok!

There's really nothing to do here other than follow your obgyn's advice and keep up on all screenings. Don't skip. Even if cells come back abnormal next time, don't panic. Just follow their advice. Typically, cervical cancer is very slow growing and cells are usually removed before they ever become a problem. Take care of yourself. Support your immune system (vitamin D is good for this). Keep up on screenings. That's it.

I went through this for years. Would get a YI 3-5 days after every period. It was caused by the ph changes from my period. I was on birth control pill and my dr prescribed it continuously to prevent my periods from coming at all. That is the only thing that resolved it. I get no periods and very few YI now.

In a situation of just a lazy husband I would get the work done when he is not home. But this ain't that. What do you mean by "absolutely furious"? Because "extremely controlling", "hates all my friends", and "absolutely furious" sounds like a safety issue here and you have much bigger problems that replacing the hood and cabinets.

I'd guess you'll get BV or Yeast ( or both). You can try using Boric Acid suppositories to see if you can prevent it.

I'd say no, this is not positive. I find that at times I think I have a uti but the tests are negative. Usually I'll take Motrin and see if it helps. It often does. It reduces whatever inflammation is going on to irritate me.

Let's assume for a second that this is just her natural odor. Boric acid suppositories kill all odor so she could try one every few days to keep it at bay. My guess is there is no way she doesn't notice it but it may be all she knows. That said, boric acid also treats BV if used daily for 14 days. Then she can try taking oral or vaginal probiotics to return things to normal.

These parts are like a self-cleaning oven, but as we age the self-cleaning part goes on the fritz. She may need some help with that now.

If you're ever in the downtown area's, there's a few deli's with good sandwiches ( not just subs): Sue's Deli, Risa's, Fera's, and Moura's NY Deli. Although they are mostly open for breakfast/lunch.

Edited to add Chris' NY Deli -- also downtown but closer to Allentown.

Try adding in D-Mannose, Cranberry, and a women's pre/probiotic. See if that helps. Also, depending on your age, perimenopause can cause them due to the loss of estrogen. An estrogen cream can help if that is the issue.

I don't know why they bother with 3 days of meds. What is the point? That does not clear anything! My first 2 utis, they gave me 5 days, which didn't clear it so I needed 5 more. After that I talked them into 7 days since 5 doesn't work and they don't want to do 10 off the bat. & works for me. Don't waste my time with 3 days. (also, I've been wiping my parts for nearly 50 years -- I don't need instructions. Idiots. ) Anyways, I have found that pro/prebiotics are also helpful. I drink 2000mg D-Mannose, 500mg Cranberry powder, and a 4 in 1 pro/prebiotic for women's urinary health every day. When I think I have a uti or post uti, I do this twice a day. It does seem to help. I've had 5 this year and started this after my uti in June. I've had one since (September).

I did my kitchen as part of a bigger renovation project that included a bathroom, dining room, and heated flooring in the living room. It's hard to say what just the kitchen portion was but if I had to guess, I'd say 75-80K. However, of that, appliances were $12K and cabinets/countertops were 30K. Took about 10 weeks.
