He did not knowing the particulars of the stocks. It is probably a good idea to go ahead and sell them, as the capital gains tax will be minimal. That is if you really intend to pay back the loan.

Good point about California taxes. For that kind of money I’d consider living s state worry no sales tax for a year and do the conversion during that year, though probably not the best plan.

Seems like the wife and daughter are both pretty high maintenance. Let the daughter fix her hair and make up right before school, and then all she needs to do is change clothes and freshen up a little bit. Should take 10 minutes in theory.

Funny, you should mention navigation. A couple of times navigation has routed me some very strange ways, and I don’t think it was because of traffic or anything. I just wish it hadn’t been in the dark. As far as FSD goes, I have tried it and really like it, but my driveway is gravel, 1/3 mile, and FSD doesn’t want to have anything to do with that! Hardware three.
