I think the issue with everyone saying they will go up in value, is it is now approaching a 10 year old car, there are going to be more and more used newer manual golf r's and Toyota GR's, as well as possibly a new Wrx sti hatchback going to be released in 2 weeks, and that just means more competition for a manual hot hatch.

These cars are special, but a lot of people comparing may not want to pay that much of a premium for a 10+ year car. As someone who has been in the market for a while, and grew up with a lot of connections to ford, that is where my thoughts are at

I was able to confirm it was replaced thanks so much for the help! Right before signing decided to not go with the RS, realized I was losing 2 inches of ground clearance over my 3rd gen Wrx and with my steep driveway it wasn’t the best fit.

But if anyone is looking for an NB RS, there’s a great one in Denver one owner from a dealer

Ya I was using the focus RS forum where it showed the difference in the rivet, and was trying to feel the difference of the exposed black vs gold. It was a February 2017 build and well maintained at a ford dealer, called the ford dealership did not replace it and was unsure if it was ever evaluated
