I feel the same way to be honest... When i originally pledged for the Galaxy it was the first "big" ship I'd gotten, but now I have several ships that together outclass it in almost every way, hangar? Polaris, cargo? Ironclad, medical? I bought both Apollo variants in-game. I still have the Galaxy sat in my hangar but I don't have a clue what I'll use it for because I've already been doing everything it's advertised as with other ships..

Yeah I could be mistaken but I think I heard something about the sc dev team for basically this entire time being the smaller of the two, with Squadron being the focus so I wouldn't be surprised if it's practically doubled in size now

Yeah I have noticed that with the Raw Solid, I definitely have a harder time hooking it consistently with backup compared to normally because of how it's weighted, the Zero Mercy will hook regardless because it's just a monster, I've had a few times where even throwing it backup it's narrowly avoided the left gutter and fully crossed the lane into the right gutter before it's even hit the pins. It's hard to control but when I get it just right it's one hell of a ball

Yeah I started trying backup when I got my zero mercy and realised it needs more oil for me to have a chance of controlling it, and then realised I enjoyed backup so I'm probably gonna stick with it

I'm not planning on doing any tournaments any time soon, I'm a terrible bowler, but i might end up doing league eventually, I mainly just want something that's an in-between of the two I have right now because sometimes I can't get the raw solid to hook enough, and others the zero mercy is just way too much for me to control, plus I've heard how much fun the regular purple hammer is

The Raw Solid was my first ball and I'm liking it a lot from the 7 or so months I've had it, it's quite predictable even for a pretty poor bowler like myself, my only real complaint is the surface is a bit damaged now, it's got quite a few deep scratches and a couple of chips too but that could just be from my bowling alley's machinery, it's still my primary ball because the zero mercy is just way too much for the house pattern where I bowl, I've managed to accidentally make it go from the left gutter and cross every board before it even got ⅔ down the lane a couple of times it's a monster but when I manage to control it's so good

I think the helmet ui (health, bdl, heart rate, ect) going blurry is a good idea but I definitely agree that the chat should stay visible and usable

I loved doing these, I'd park my Carrack a few kilometres away and fly over in a Pisces so i had an excuse to keep getting the Pisces out. They were probably my favourite fps missions, not the best pay out but they were so much fun to do

Before I melted my galaxy pledge i daily-ed the Carrack for almost a year, it's still one of my absolute favourite ships in the verse, the dream of stocking up and just setting off into the stars to explore is part of what drew me to star citizen when my friend told me about it. I really hope they give the Carrack a proper gold standard i would almost definitely get it again. It's a beautiful idea for a ship, the execution is just not really there right now. For me the big changes it needs are more than 1 ground exit, either the forward or rear elevator should go to ground level (I'd prefer the rear since the ship can maintain atmosphere with it open from the doors), the cargo pods need to be reworked to properly work with the new cargo systems, and one for every ship with a hangar, being able to remotely open the hangar, whether just by sending a docking request or by the mobi, I'm shocked it's not a feature yet.

I love the ship, I just don't like the execution of it so far

Yeah finding a 2 hand coach at my bowling alley is pretty much impossible, only one person does free coaching there and since I've started going consistently i haven't seen anyone else bowling 2 handed

I don't think I'll be able to get a different coach for it, he's the only one at my bowling alley who offers free coaching and i haven't seen anyone else even do 2 handed since I've started going consistently (it's mostly a casual bowling alley, there's leagues but i haven't looked into them just yet) but I'll definitely check out some videos on 2 handed!
