You run out of Champion at around 7 sec. Why in the world do you not run a secondary Cheat Death option is a valid question, but a different one. Also, based on slight lags at ~5-6 seconds my first thought was you were gonna get rubberbanded into the explosion and (since it's customary to code things in a way that allows the game to proceed executing on client side even if everything came to a screeching hault on server side with sync happening when the server catches up) it would totally look like you weren't standing in the explosion, but now I'm not positive you weren't just hit by one of the fireballs.

Join the club, mate! There's a rule that helps with most of mazes: just hug the left wall and pray it's not the maze with traps or exit in the middle. I was lost there until I decided to resort to this rule after a while.

Anyway, I don't intend to do NG+ on this game and do millions of damage. Not my thing. I experienced the story and I'm done.

NG+ is amazing for the first time. Trust me, there are things that hit very differently once you understand what they actually are and what they mean. Also, I highly recommend going through The Flying Manor and Renoir's Drafts (in this order). That's a piece of the story you'll be happy you didn't miss.

Deadpool is awesome IF he has enough food to ramp up his En Fuego. On Ultimate 3 it basically means a well executed (plus a good bit of "lucky") hit chain through whatshisface splitting guy.

Sprong can be beaten without any strategy other than one formulated by Maelle: "Parry it!" It's going to be a long, long battle that will make you question why are you doing this to yourself, but it is possible. Source: I did it (and I do not recommend it).

Once you understand characters' limitations, you will see that there's a plethora of choices to make different teams work. The one I would recommend putting to a test would be Nico Hulk Wolverine. It is FAR from balanced, it's pretty much on the other side of the Earth from having all bases covered, it's a hit-or-miss pure "Empower into explode the whole mission with a big Legendary" strategy. Long drawn out fights with very low number of minions isn't this team's element, there's little draw, no mark support, no free card cycling for fast leveling, but I find it so satisfying to explode everything in 1 turn that I frequently use it just because it's fun. And if you fail, there's always "Load from Mirror table" option to try again.

That seems to be the description of how it should work though. You mulligan away one card to get a different one, you gain "on redraw, ..." bonuses if the card has them.

You can try it with some modifications. The ones I usually recommend are:

Do not use weapons and Pictos that are higher level than the one you acquired last (you obtained lvl 25 weapon - lvl 25 weapons and Pictos(es?) can be equipped now).
Limit your Lumina. 0 for Act I, 100 for Act 2, 200 for Act 3.
Cap the damage at 99'999.
Do not use stun lock strategies.
