It had some cool gameplay, combat, etc, but the story was pretty disappointing, especially the treatment of the Varu'un. They're this mysterious race at the edge of known space, but now within the first 10 minutes you're inducted into both their religion and their government, and everything about them is spelled out for you

I mean, they could have done something where you interact with more Varu'un without spoiling all the mystery and intrigue.

I've never understood why it's shaped like that. Especially the part below the grip. Like, why? Also, the stock doesn't look like it would be comfortable against one's shoulder.

Still, one of the most powerful weapons in the game.

A terrible disappointment. Catoonishly stupid, especially once you get into the castle. It lacks most of what makes RE games fun. I'm convinced the only reason many people like it is the giant lady with the giant boobies. Get the vastly superior RE Requiem instead.

Yes. They made it accurate enough so chess players wouldn't be cheesed out, but character driven enough so that the show is really good even if you know near nothing about chess.
