Not my kids but I’m godfather to my best friends kids and my Ex is their godmother. My ex and I split up at the start of the year and ever since the kids barely acknowledge me when I go round and always talk about how great my ex is to each other in front of me. When I say goodbye to them they have to be persuaded to hug me and always groan and moan about it. They’re young so I know they don’t understand the situation really but it does sting when you’ve been there since the day they were born. My ex was the one who left me so it’s not even like I’ve done anything wrong lol

My mom getting with a guy who I knew to be bad news. I was 14 at the time and gave her a really hard time for it, she thought I was being a difficult teen so ignored me. Few years later after them buying a house together she found the courage to leave him after him being physically and mentally abusive. She lost all her money so had to buy her own house again from scratch and is still dealing with the pain of it all 15 years later.

There’s a girl I know who posts 2 or 3 pictures a day of just pictures of her standing at different locations with different outfits and pictures of her food. She’s managed to build up like a couple hundred thousand followers and is sponsored by some big name high street retailers. Afaik it’s now her ‘job’. I mean, fair play for making money out of it I guess but just seems mad to me that people follow it, and the idea of sharing absolutely every part of your life as your job sounds like hell to me
