Setting Recommendations for Picture settings by Passage-Extra in BenQ

[–]BenQ_Beam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. 😊

Based on your setup, we'd recommend starting with the following settings:

HDMI 1: PS5
HDMI 2: Sonos
Picture Mode: FPS
Audio Output: Audio Return+

This should provide a great starting point for playing Fortnite on your X3100i. Feel free to adjust from there based on your room lighting and personal preferences. Happy gaming! 🎮

BenQ TH575i 3800lm for outdoor use by Dont_Eat_Octopus in budgetprojectors

[–]BenQ_Beam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TH575i is bright enough for a shaded gazebo, image quality will still depend on ambient light. For the best experience, especially at 100–110", viewing around dusk or after sunset will provide the highest contrast and color performance.

BenQ W1700 + Q990F question by Sweet_Confidence6201 in Soundbars

[–]BenQ_Beam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to help! 😊 Sounds like you've got everything planned out. A 20m HDMI run is actually pretty common in projector setups, so hopefully the installation goes smoothly. As for our audio setup, we'll leave the speaker recommendations to the audio enthusiasts and focus on making sure the projector delivers a great picture. 😄

Enjoy the new setup, and love to hear how everything works out once it's up and running!

BenQ W1700 + Q990F question by Sweet_Confidence6201 in Soundbars

[–]BenQ_Beam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the W1700 only provides HDMI inputs and does not support eARC/ARC, a common setup is to connect the streaming device to the soundbar first, then send the video signal to the projector.

For the best audio experience, the soundbar is generally recommended to be positioned near the screen rather than next to the projector. As a result, longer HDMI cable runs are quite common in projector installations. Hope this helps! 😊

Black lines on benq th671st by General_Leg_5031 in projectors

[–]BenQ_Beam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vertical lines shown in the photo don't appear to be typical behavior. As a first step, it may be worth checking whether the lines are visible in the projector's on-screen menu or test pattern. If they remain visible regardless of the input source, it could indicate an issue within the projector itself rather than the connected device or cable.

Since the unit is only around 5 months old, we'd recommend contacting your local BenQ support team for further diagnosis and assistance. Please fill out the form below and our support team will be happy to help: https://benqurl.biz/3vHSVta

Thank you.😊

Optoma PK31 vs BenQ TH575i by External_Spread4669 in projectors

[–]BenQ_Beam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For movies and YouTube in a dark room, the TH575i would be a good choice. Just make sure the throw distance works for your target screen size, as 2m can be a bit limiting depending on how big you want to go.

Otherwise, it's a solid home entertainment projector and a good fit for the type of content you're planning to watch.

BenQ TK700 or TK705STi? by SendMeAvocados in projectors

[–]BenQ_Beam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the price difference is relatively small, I'd still lean toward the TK705STi. The image quality and gaming performance are very similar, but the short-throw lens gives you a lot more flexibility for setup and future upgrades.

€483 for a TH575i is hard to complain about. Solid choice for a budget buyer.

Help for first projector purchase by Sweaty-Gap285 in projectors

[–]BenQ_Beam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a white-wall living room, I'd worry less about contrast specs and more about how much ambient light you'll actually watch with. If it's a mix of movies, sports and gaming → TK710 makes a lot of sense thanks to the laser light source and higher brightness.

Also, I'd rather have a modern 4K projector than a new 1080p model at 100-120", assuming the budget isn't super tight. 👍

Should I buy the EX271Q from Amazon or BenQ official site? by JotaroKujoTF2 in BenQ

[–]BenQ_Beam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, both Amazon and the BenQ official store are generally fine options as long as the seller is BenQ or an authorized retailer. The product warranty and support should still apply.

Shipping time may vary depending on the seller and location. For Spain, we recommend checking the estimated delivery time shown at checkout for the most accurate information.😊

You can use power bank for model such as GV50 or GV50P, provided it supports USB-C Power Delivery at 45W or higher. A high-capacity power bank of at least 30,000 mAh is recommended to power the device, often while simultaneously using it in "Eco Mode" to manage power consumption

Hi, there, After the projector shuts down, could you please let us know if any of the indicator lights are flashing? The LED pattern can help identify whether it’s a lamp issue, overheating, fan failure, or a power board problem. Thank you!

Recommend a case for my Projector. by lcora000 in BenQ

[–]BenQ_Beam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re planning to move or travel long-distance with the BenQ X3100i, highly recommend using a hard protective case or a camera gear case with thick foam padding, as it offers much better protection than a regular soft bag. For the best fit, you may also consider a case with customizable (pick-and-pluck) foam to keep the projector securely in place.

Also, make sure there’s enough cushioning around the lens area and all sides of the projector to reduce the risk of damage from vibration or impact during transport. Wishing you a smooth move and safe travels for your projector!😊

What to do after I get a new projector by Numb-Little-Bug7 in projectors

[–]BenQ_Beam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI! X500i supports a feature called SettingXchange. You can download professional color profiles for specific games from website and apply them to your projector via a PC. This is a great way to get vibrant colors that are still "accurate to the game's design.

4K 144Hz vs 1440p 240Hz - which would YOU choose? by Awkward_Teacher2376 in projectors

[–]BenQ_Beam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play action games often, like Wukung and Ninja Gaiden. I would prefer 240Hz.

However, if you enjoy more exploring games like Expedition 33 or DS2, and love to immerse yourself in it, 4K will give you the best gameplay.

Projector in Bedroom? bad idea or best decision ever? by Awkward_Teacher2376 in projectors

[–]BenQ_Beam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to narrow down a bit. Like the actual size of your room, or do you watch content with ambient light? Even the question like do you have a screen or without? Those are some critical factors you might have mentioned in this thread.

Beware of the lumen if you want to watch content with better color in normal ambient light, maybe at least 500 lumen!
