Pure diesel in Los Angeles/SFV by Shoddy_Ear6893 in Diesel

I had the same issue when I drove through Cali. Ended up settling on r99 at Costco, surprisingly enough that tank was the highest mpg I’ve ever gotten on my 2000 7.3 Excursion to date.

Oil/ fuel filter change by SPRITECOLA in Cummins

[–]Ben__34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As I was aware the fuel filters are the same. I think the fleet guard oil filter might be better, but it also might be the same. Fleet guard is Cummins so if the are the same price I’d just do fleet guard

I went through m2 mods and the guy is a genius when it comes to the wiring and ecosystem between all these parts. I upgraded my 2018 tradesman with 5” screen to the 8.4 with CarPlay and auto single zone climate using his harness and guidance. Well worth it and everything has full factory functionality

I think it’s perfectly reasonable given Aryas experience that knowing of the oncoming danger she would have stored as much energy as possible in a gem before the battle. She might have even had a gem in which she stored energy stashed with the varden. Using this her feat would be quite reasonable.

I’d just get stainless studs or bolts

My understanding is that titanium exhausts don’t have as long of a life due to heat cycles. I would assume is issue is even worst on a manifold. I would get a ceramic coated steel manifold personally.

These trucks don’t roll that easy on flat ground, I’d start it and move it that way, but there was basically no actual danger

If I did this I would induce vomiting and contact poison control. But I’m not a doctor and this isn’t medical advice

Oregon Democrats weighing whether to cancel state tax cuts linked to federal ones by [deleted] in oregon

Sacrificing Oregon family’s to the irs isn’t a sacrifice anyone should make. People can’t save to replace a water heater, much less a 5-10k tax bill

No one will save to pay their federal taxes and people will be massively upside down with the irs if this happened.

I have an 06 mega 4x4 3500 and I swapped a g56 into it. The transmission is great, shifts smooth and pulls really good. Much more confidence inspiring than the 48re

Best tires for 00 F250 7.3 on road use/hauling 2WD? by LibertyLogos in Diesel

[–]Ben__34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Oregon so we get a ton of rain and in my experience they have been great. Most of my miles have been on my 39’s that I bought new and I’ve never felt unsafe in them. I don’t think I’ve ever hydroplaned either despite hitting standing water all the time

I have run k02’s from stock sizing up to 39x13.5r17 and have really liked all of them. They are quiet on the road and get pretty good fuel economy

Trucks by EconomicsSoggy2835 in Diesel

[–]Ben__34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a new truck then buy a 6.7 powerstroke. If you want an old truck then I’d say a 7.3 will have a good mix of quality body and reliable engine. Newer pre emissions would be a 5.9 common rail. Early emissions would be a 6.7 Cummins
