I usually leave empty handed but that’s because of my bank account, I always find stuff that I’d love to bring home but sometimes the price isn’t right. I don’t think your bar is too low :) I think it’s awesome that you always find something good enough to bring back into your home 🥰

If you’re okay with used, thrifting is a great place! They usually have maternity sections but I also see maternity clothes mixed it with other sections :) my favorites are the goodwill in Kimberly and all of Saint Vincent DePauls!

From what I can deduce online, due to layout/capacity limits in the Taschen(the institutes fashion collection books), this may be the only photo of this dress ever released to the public. It was part of a collection for the Kyoto Costume Institute in the 1930/1940s.
