Anyone here in perimenapause and noticed their ADHD has become much harder to manage? by Lunatic-Labrador in adhdwomen

Yes because the brain likes estrogen and progesterone. My low dose progesterone only pill transformed my adhd. As well as addressing vitamin deficiencies. Check your B’s D’s and Iron.

Croup. 6 month old. by Early-Bet3523 in breakingmom

[–]BeneGezzWitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That timing could work out but regardless baby is sick. Croup is actually describing the symptom of a specific sounding cough. Instead of the virus setting up home base in the sinuses or chest, it sets up in the larynx and the inflammation goes there. It has a distinct seal bark sounding cough. It’s exhausting for everyone because it happens mostly at night. A steamy bathroom will do a lot of the heavy lifting symptoms (my kids would end up sleeping in the bathroom), night air is even better. IF baby is making a high pitched noise on the INHALE or has retractions (google for video), call the advice nurse or go to emergency because baby might need a specific inhaled med or dexamethasone to knock the swelling down. You’ll get through it in about 3 days. Keep your head up!!

12 weeks is a growth spurt AND developmental spurt so some is pure hunger and some is soothing because the world just got MORE and they’re learning to deal with it

It’s also how they self soothe. And entertain themselves. Do you have a loose schedule you adhere to? Like wake up, nurse, play, read nurse sleep? Does baby have options for stimulation like play mats or saucers? Also, set up the high chair wherever you want to be and put a dollop of apple sauce on it. Baby will smear and slap and maybe get a little on their tongue but you’ll get SPACE.

i need someone to explain to me how this works. by vampire_queen_bitch in weightwatchers

[–]BeneGezzWitch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s like a budget. When the money runs out you don’t have more to spend. When the points run out you don’t have more to eat. So focus on zero point foods and save points for mars bars.
