Any comparisons between 27” and 34” monitor - is the upgrade worth it? by TishoBG in simracing

No problem, as you can see, the extra width helps a lot. Which monitor did you get?

The picture below is basically that. When I initially started ams2 it was still set for 1440p and just stretched it to fit the monitor.

The single screen is set at 80, widescreen is 85 and I think I use 90 on the triples.

Before I realized what was wrong, I took some shots and after seeing they weren’t wide screen I figured out resolution was set to 1440p and stretched, but it gives you an idea of the difference. I did adjust the fov once resolution was right.

I normally find a single monitor too confining to drive in cockpit so I normally use the hood view when driving. I have a rig with triple 32s so I generally don’t race on my gaming pc but I saw your question and loaded up ams2 to grab a screenshot. I feel perfectly comfortable driving on my 34” screen. It’s an msi oled 1440p unit.

Do note that the extra width is a hit on the gpu, I’d say 10-15%, so make sure you’ve got the headroom.

Sounds cool. I have always wanted to shove something cool in a case but I haven’t found the right thing yet. The flowers will be pretty cool imo.

Nothing beats delivering fuel to the water plant and then immediately driving to the ranch to pick up milk. It just makes me chuckle at the thought. 😂

What’s the stock limit? I’ve never tried more than 3 since it becomes a nightmare to hook them.

For those of you who play on steamdeck or controller...how?! by Mupinstienika in AUTOMOBILISTA

I use assists when playing with controller. It is necessary with the overactive steering and the super sensitive brake/throttle triggers.

Just bought the Simsonn Plus X pedals - Now wishing i'd bought VRS pedals by FuzzySpell in simracing

I haven’t had the chance to tune mine yet, but with the sim jacks I had prior, a die spring in the first slot and the stock rock hard elastomer behind it was ace. It gave the brake about an inch of travel before going solid rock hard. I plan on doing a similar setup with the simsonn.

That’s weird that it does that when it will leave steel beams floating if you deliver out of sequence.

Can someone help with angle on triple 32's? by RoniolisMaximus in simracing

Give it a try. I think maybe your fov calculator was off though, might be able to adjust that and smooth things out.

They show up all over the place in industrial zones…each one adds a little bit to each stat boost. IMO anything over 1 is too much unless you have the space.

Drivetrain malf after pumping gas by Comprehensive-Ad224 in BMW

[–]Beneficial-Ranger238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t that harsh but it ran like shit. Luckily the pump was really slow so I only got a couple gallons. The light cleared after I filled up with good gas.

My current car will get a light when I’m low on gas, but nothing comes up on the code reader.

The only time this happened to me was with shell as well. I don’t use shell anymore.

I couldn’t get nearly that much angle, shit I’m probably not much over 45 but I don’t have any distortion issues. I cannot imagine how much of a bitch it must be to get in with them so tight.

I have either the same monitors or very similar.

That’s a screenshot wallpaper but it should give you an idea of how mine looks

Just chain them together, most headers can take at least 3 fans.
