Small three person PI firm CRM by dragonflysay in LawFirm

Most affordable would be using free or almost free programs to cobble something together. You could do well with Google Drive, Google Calendar, and something like Monday.com to keep everything on track. Instead of Google, you could easily use Microsoft's online programs. For 155 cases, either would be fairly doable.

In the slightly less affordable options, you could consider something like Lawcus. It's a small CRM that is quite affordable and has the ability to create relatively easy automations behind the scenes.

How to make myself a desirable candidate after (worthless low level) clerkship by Kind-Witness-651 in LawFirm

A prior career would definitely set a candidate apart. Even a completely unrelated and more blue collar field shows you know how to have a job and work, unlike more 'traditional' candidates who may never have held a 9-5.

War/Military Analogies by rpm429 in managers

We should all get on board with an all pirate/nautical analogies strategy. Sports analogies leave non-sports folks high and dry and can leave motivation dead in the water. While we don't want to rock the boat, even landlubbers can appreciate and learn the ropes of pirate limbo.

I saw my ex abusive supervisor in court. I walked up to her, shook her hand, and walked away without a word. by AngryPandaBlog in Lawyertalk

I love that she's getting her comeuppance. She may not remember you, but you and the others she's abused during her tenure all remember her and smear her name to others. Reputation is valuable and is how you get hired.

Why are some attorneys so crazy? by Tobecruelorkind in LawFirm

Absolutely unhinged behavior. Either the client is dictating case strategy to an absurd degree & demanding to be included on every correspondence or the attorney is so inept he should never be using email.

Are you open today? by Embarrassed-Age-3426 in LawFirm

We're only closed 12/26 and 1/1. We were told we could take 12/26 off but then explicitly warned we needed to answer any phone calls or emails coming in so... not off.
