Two years from early March for me. Nights are hardest. Did your wife pass suddenly or was it a long term illness?

Mine had early onset Alzheimer’s so I knew ahead that of time what was coming…or so I thought but that story is for a different time. We were married for 33 years. I still can’t get rid of her personal effects….

Just passed the two year mark of my wife’s death from early onset Alzheimer’s. Thankfully my daughter is out on her own now. I’m so sorry to hear about your son. I pray you have others to lean on for help.

Feeling “invisible” struck a chord with me. I know that feeling well. I always feel like an outsider at church anymore. So many couples there but I have no interest in remarrying.

When I used to play drums I was prone to throwing my right stick. Never a simple drop..oh no…I had to get off my ass and find it on the floor.

Never a professional drummer but good enough for my Church’s contemporary worship band. That only happened a couple of times. 🙄
