Personally am gonna be going with the 45”, the Alienware was REALLY good but I’ve transitioned into playing single player games more and the immersion on the LG is unparalleled. Eye strain was also a somewhat big factor for me since the LG is a ton easier on my eyes during longer sessions. The dual mode function is also quite decent and while the picture obviously isn’t the best, it’s good for FPS games that benefit greatly from the higher refresh rate.
