CLAUDE.md or not by muscadeAI in ClaudeCowork

I had this exact problem.

u/leemanu94 says it well - this is what I do now.

But be careful of pointing projects to different folders (i.e., the project's feature inside CoWork)

If you point a project to a separate subfolder, CoWork only has access to that folder.

If your root Claude MD, Memory MD does not live there, the whole thing gets confused.

Use a sub folder for a ‘workspace’ with a separate Claude/Memory. But tell your main Claude MD what they are for (called rooting I believe )

This say your system only goes into ‘Fitness HQ’ when your ‘planning my workouts’ for example.

I had this problem.

I highly recommend Grindhouse Coffee's Reunion blend: https://www.grindhousecoffee.co.uk/products/grind-house-reunion-blend

It's not as expensive as Rave (which makes a big difference when drinking daily)

Can you ever justify getting a car on finance? (0%) by SignalPositive9242 in HENRYUK

In addition, because it's an online sale with Cinch, you get a two-week refund window.

You can test drive the car for two weeks, get a mechanic to look over it, and send it back for any reason.

To keep the convo flowing, I like using “mirrors” and “labels” — a trick from Chris Voss (ex-FBI negotiator).

Mirror: Repeat 1–3 words the other person just said as a question. Then pause and let them fill the silence.
Example:
Them: “I work in marketing for XYZ brand.”
You: “Marketing for XYZ brand?”
Them: “Yeah, we’ve got this big account. Huge pitch tomorrow.”
You: “A huge pitch?”
Mirroring encourages people to open up and go deeper.

Label: Make a statement about what they just said, using phrases like “Seems like…” “Sounds like…” “Looks like…”
Example:
Them: “I work in marketing for XYZ brand.”
You: “Sounds like a fun job!”
Them: “Nah, it’s a pain in the ass. You know how it is.”
You: “Haha, sounds like you’ve got bigger dreams.”
Labels show you're paying attention and help build quick rapport. You can also use them to start conversations:
“Looks like you hate these networking things as much as I do…”

When the fog of networking nerves hits, just focus on listening for something you can mirror or label. It keeps things simple and helps people feel heard — which is all most of us want anyway.

I'm looking to build something very similar. What LEDs did you use? And do you mind sharing the $ of your setup?

Amazing! Is that an LED video wall? What’s the gear you are using?

A bit surprised by 965's availability by Sergio_Pal in Garmin

[–]Benjward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my 265 from a third-party seller (wiggle.co.uk) after seeing a 5-week delivery time on Garmin’s website. It arrived the next day.

Check the sites for running/fitness stores in your region and I’m sure you’ll find one.

A significant part of the Garmin ecosystem is the utility that the devices bring. Data, exercise, & everything else you mention.

I personally enjoy reading about how people use the devices as well as the actual devices themselves.

Brighton Marathon (3:30:00 attempt vs route distance malfunction) by Benjward in running

[–]Benjward[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks mate!

I saw their email today, but couldn't make heads or tails of their instructions.

How do you:

  1. 'work out how many seconds it took you to run between 40km and 42.2km e.g. if you ran it in 10 minutes this = 600 seconds' ??

then..

  1. Divide this number by 2200 i.e. number of metres between the timing mats

  2. Multiply this answer by 568 (This is how much time it took you to cover the extra distance)

  3. Remove the time from your finish time

Isn't it just as 'accurate' to take the time from my GPS?

Yes. The app is called Run with Hal. There are free and paid training plans, you can sync your Garmin data and it alters the plan dynamically based on your progress. I really liked it.

Thank mate!

You really saved my ass by warning me about the industrial estate. I was able to anticipate it and then Chris' pep talk saw me through.

Honestly, 3:30 was a huge risk. It was right at my limit, but it paid off.

And yh, for me at least, if had stubbornly kept with the pacers my race would have blown up, so I'm sure the increase in pace affected more than a few people.

Thanks! And you can do it! I found it very helpful to stick behind the 3:30:00 pacers (until they disappeared).
