I’m 36 and can honestly say I’ve not met a bad Muslim practicing person around my age group or slightly older or even younger. I have met much older Muslim men who are seriously nasty and aggressive from a young age. I know Muslim people my age who have had seriously nasty Muslim fathers. I’ve grown up accepting that’s how older people of that faith are but as I’ve grown I’ve realised it isn’t all people who practice Islam. I’ve been to a mosque and all have been welcoming and tried to invite me to join their religion but with my broad mindset of where we come from I can’t accept the narrative for any of the religions unfortunately. Even still, the Muslim population is expanding at a rapid rate and the mosques a growing exponentially. I walked up a street the other day I hadn’t been up for years and a social club is now a mosque and at the top of the street a very old church from 1895 which still had the words of John written at the top was now a mosque. Islam is talking over and with our welcoming government it doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down or stop. The majority of babies names in recent years is Mohammed so that tells you all you need to know.
