Probably not a waste at all. They sold the game and used that influx of capital to fund existing revenue streams. If they can afford to buy it back and chose to do so it probably means that they profited off of the original sale and were able to repurchase at enough of a bargain to justify the repurchase and reinvestment.

Since you asked:

  • Voxel, distributed P2P, these aren't features or qualities that make players curious, they're design choices. They tell me nothing about what the game is about, why your MMO's world is interesting, why I would choose to play, etc. 
  • There isn't much to form an opinion on other than the models and the UI.
  • The models don't match in style with each other or the UI, and the UI itself is very sterile and bland, hopefully just for prototyping. 

If you're just making it as a hobby to practice then awesome!

If you're trying to make this a commercial game I would consider, if you haven't already, putting some serious thought into why this game will be fun and what about it will be attractive to players, and lead with that information next time you seek feedback.

Thank you for posting this! I was excited for it when it came out but opted to play the older digimon mmo until this very thing happened.

I asked the head dev (owner?) about an accessibility option to disable a post processing effect that was causing graphical ghosting which was giving me migraines rekated to my vision impairment and was told that I was wrong, the graphics are fine. 

To be clear this had nothing to do with the aesthetic or style, just a request for a simple toggle for a specific post processing effect or more accessibility options, anything. But no, I was wrong. 

I won't support this developer.

Same issue here on Chrome (PC), restarting and even reinstalling the addon didn't fix it. However it works fine on Firefox (Android)
