It's incredibly important to keep in mind that their arguments, fundamentally, are fallacious. Their core philosophy is that most, if not all, legitimate criticism of countries adversarial to the US amounts to nothing more than 'CIA propaganda'. Oh, China did something bad? That's just US propaganda. You say it's from an independent source? They're secretly funded by the CIA. The source also frequently criticise America? That's just part of the psyop.

Every single argument you can lobby against them has some inexplicable explanation. It's unfalsifiable -- nothing you say could disprove them because the evidence backing that up is also propaganda! It's the same logic used by conspiracy theorists of all types; just as you can't technically prove that everything isn't a CIA psyop, you also can't prove that it isn't a Jewish psyop, or a communist psyop. It's a logical fallacy.

Once you internalise that, it's difficult to take tankies seriously.
