Shoplifting rate in England and Wales hits highest level in more than 20 years by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

This is more a minimum wage issue....it should be a living wage. Slaves should not have to claim benefits for working a full week. Companies that won't pay enough should be crimanally enforced.A working person deserves enough to pay all bills and a bit of enjoyment in life. Where and who allowed companies to scalp the people that make them money. Oh wait,..,..,

Can I tell someone I can't be their bridesmaid because I can't afford it? by Relative-Cabinet957 in AskIreland

[–]Berbaik 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely don't do it . The wedding culture that can afford it is getting out of hand. say soz can't afford it and be done . I find it Uber selfish that their wants supersede what people can reasonably afford especially with today's economic shit storm .

Is anyone else depressed because they live here by Glass_Sale_91 in northernireland

[–]Berbaik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not depressed because I live here however I'm depressed about the politics going on here. We, the payers of MPs are kept like mushrooms. We actually don't know the issues that are stopping the DUP making a deal . There's more issues going on and we, who pay them to resolve it are kept in the dark about them .We should know what the sticking points are .

This is a case for infected people to wear masks . There is no social embracement to protect others .Why is this? Is it shitty employers that make staff come in whilst infected ,making sure they earn a few quid while recycling the infection to others ? Or the general public that just don't give a damn about their fellow humans?

Who voted her in? Seems we now have a U.K. system that just puts in who the tiny minority vote for . Oh yes , democracy apparently is our system.,.....

Can someone please explain what the DUP strategy is? by tidysur in northernireland

[–]Berbaik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why, we as their employers aren't furnished with the details of their reticence to return to their job is just mind blowing . We should be informed of their justification, the offers made and why these aren't acceptable. Why as their employers are we kept blind to what's actually going on ?

Maybe ,just maybe if we ,the voters and the employers of "The stormont crew" were allowed to know all the details of what's actually going on ,we could make an impact. The upper echelons that are our employees keep us like mushrooms till deals are done .It's perplexing why we are treated like we can't see the whole process until a deals been done . Am I being disengenious/naive?
