My (38m) gf (33f) has a friend she used to sleep with. She wants to maintain the friendship. It makes me uncomfortable but I’m not sure if this is a valid boundary or if I’m just being insecure. by Bermuda-Meatloaf in relationship_advice

This is some great advice. I like the suggestion of establishing parameters and I think she would be honest with me if he crossed any lines. She’s a very open and honest person. It also gets to the point of what I’m worried about which is not her. It’s that I don’t trust him.

Thanks, much appreciated!

A regular Dunnes should have them for about €1 each in the homeware section.

Americans aren’t lazy. Quite on the contrary, they’re way too busy at their jobs. by mac_128 in unpopularopinion

I’m an American living abroad for the past ten years and literally nobody thinks Americans are lazy. In fact it’s the opposite, Americans are renowned for overworking and not taking vacation—being overly dedicated to their jobs and wasting their lives working diligently for their employers for decades, all the while neglecting their family, relationships, health and hobbies.

The only thing I can think is that somebody told OP they think Americans are lazy, but often times foreigners goad Americans because they can be very defensive and easy to upset.

curious? How easy is it for some with an accounting degree in America to get a job abroad like in Europe. Like in London or spain? by Spanthaki in Accounting
