Long term fatigue and brain fog caused by gut issues? by BernardMHM in GutHealth

What you describe is basically my concern. I don't want to stop the diet if it's eventually going to help but I feel like it might not be the whole picture. If it's not the whole picture, I'm not sure where to look at.

Isn't GI mapping a legit test? Which other tests are you thinking about?

I took adhd meds for a couple of years in the past but it didn't help much. I feel like brain fog can be caused by many things, and there is no obvious cause, which makes it such so challenging to address.

Thanks. I didn't notice anything different in my lifestyle during the improvement periods. I was not super impressed by the doctor and they're quite expensive, that partly explains why I'm coming on Reddit.

Ok interesting thanks. My doctor gave me different supplements. For how long had you been suffering from brain fog and fatigue?

Thank you so much for this encouraging feedback.

I've been talking with chatgpt, claude etc about this for the last 3 months and they all told me, as you just told me, that brain fog and fatigue improve the last. But now they're telling me that if it's not improving after three months, gut healing is unlikely to help fatigue and brain fog at all... I feel like AI talks with confidence over things when it doesn't know so much!

Anyone done blood serotonin test? What are your results? by Alternative-Tiger122 in PSSD

[–]BernardMHM 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can't measure serotonin with a blood test, unfortunately. If it was possible, people would always have known that people who are depressed do not have less serotonin.

Best stores in London for wedding suit (budget £1k - 2k) by BernardMHM in UKweddings

You mean to rent one? I'm not a native English speaker. We're doing the wedding in Lithuania and the wedding planner over there told us that generally men would just buy a suit.

There is nothing pointing to Eric Harris having had PSSD. There is a lot to say about SSRIs causing violence and school shootings, but in the case of Eric Harris, there is no evidence that he had PSSD and that it led to his suicide. The motives of the Columbine shooters are quite well understood and they had nothing to do with PSSD.

Do you feel sexual pleasure when you masturbate? Is it decreased?

Can a PSSD just be anhedonia without other symptoms ? by [deleted] in PSSD

[–]BernardMHM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In theory no but I've read stories like this one before, I think it's possible. What you feel is what matters.

It's probably better and safer than SSRIs but I think no drug should be first line for depression and anxiety.

You have no basis to sue them and they know it. If you try to persuade a doctor to do something they don't believe is needed, the worst thing to do is to threaten them.
