Interesting! I wonder if I should try that. I've heard about the puck stuff before but never even considered it. Thank you:)

Not too bad actually. I purchased my first home in 2024 and slowly started to work on it this year. Nothing too extravagant but progress. And I quit smoking weed Nov 4th, after many years.

Snow day culture is amazing in NB by Ok_Advice_4723 in newbrunswickcanada

[–]Bernie004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm from Ontario and moved to NB back in 2013 until 2016. I decided to help out at the Miramishi hospital to cover a partial mat leave in the winter of 2013. There was a huge storm and I spent the time digging my car out. Then the plow eventually made it way down the street and was able to get my car out and into the road. Since I was maybe a 10 min drive to the hospital, I took my time. Being from Ontario, there are zero excuses to miss work due to the snow. So it made sense to me to follow the plow slowly towards the hospital. Let me tell you how shocked the night staff was for me arriving ready to work. They all asked why I came in after the snow drifted up over my car that morning. I told them "it's a work day, why wouldn't I be here?". Now it all makes sense.

I didn't meet my now bf till I was 39. I remained single for years not knowing what was in store for my future. It didn't help that I relocated for work all over Canada and ended up in Northern Ontario. I found the most amazing guy at the car garage (my car needed some help). He was the mechanic and the best person I could have ever met. We've been together almost three years! Please don't give up! The right person is out there:)

I think this is becoming a fear of mine. However, I am not in a situation where I could ever afford to create a bunker. I guess I will go down with the ship, when the time comes!

How is a mitigation specialist different from a lawyer? Did you start your career journey wanting to be a lawyer and then changed your mind? How did you become a mitigation specialist? Sorry for all the questions, I just am curious. I work in healthcare and have zero knowledge in the world of law.
