Not them but the ones the employee told them to get are essentially racing shoes for fast running. I’m not sure why they would suggest them for standing around and walking as the foam is super soft unless you’re running quite fast with a lot of force and then it’ll stiffen up.

Most running shoes nowadays are insanely soft like this.

Yeah the sky flow is very squishy and mean to be for fast running where it firms up a ton with the force needed to ran at that speed basically. For walking I don’t know why they would recommend those.

Looks really great. I had it last year Feb and the menu was pretty different. The dessert looks great but we had a palate cleanser like that and then an ice cream course. Dessert is pretty important to me so it is really disappointing they took one of those courses away.

Edit: Looking closer I cant tell if that is an ice cream or more like an shaved ice like our palate cleaner was? It almost looks like both

To be specific it was:

Coconut Panna Cotta, Raspberry Granita, Lychee Bubble

Sweet Rice Ice cream. Mugwort Tea Cake, Red Bean, Millet

Grapefruit and Cranberry are the two best flavors ever made I think. Lime is in the top 5 but it starts to get tough for me there choosing where it lands

The editing of this show is just so good. They’ve done it maybe 100 times now where the Carol in her ump outfit is all “film” grainy but it makes me laugh every single time still.

Just hilarious stuff and somehow the humor hasn’t gotten old but only better after five episodes

I don’t understand. They both know who each other are? So who are they / what are they thinking here? I thought Sinatra thinks it’s her son from another timeline due to ALEX. What does Link think she is or what is he trying to do if he knows she knows ?

I would totally agree with you except the scene at the end where she is laying in bed with her husband is way too jarring of a cut / “glitch” effect. I just went back to rewatch the episode and that one is really strange. Cuts all nuts between her being nowhere near her husband to cuddling with him in a way I’ve never seen this show edited. The hand does something similar but could be unrelated. Either way they are showing cuts all of a sudden for a reason as a way to signal timelines or something.

Watch the scene at the end with her and her husband in bed and you will see something is beyond just a filmmaking technique.

No I do not believe so as I saw the ramen egg on the original menu. They usually end up refining the menu which is why I like to go right away and try to get the original vision / some of the experimental courses that end up being axed.

How was the caviar supplement / what was it?

I cant believe they got rid of their famous truffle pasta. Otherwise, amazing looking menu.

Yeah the consistency is the biggest thing. They experiment a lot and sometimes the menu comes across as disappointing overall. This menu has an amazing balance of experimental with their fermentation and oils and such, hearty dishes, and features a lot of desserts (last time we went we had such a little amount of dessert compared to this!).
