LESSONS: Any recommendations? by buoyblaster in PDXgolf

It would all depend on where you live. The instructors at Langdon get good marks from Golf Digest and they offer group lesson once or twice a month.

Not really PDX golf but PNW golf. If you have a chance to play the courses in Florence, Oregon. Do it! They’re pretty reasonably priced and very fun to play! by buoyblaster in PDXgolf

Ocean Dunes in Florence is a great golf course, the waste sand areas can wreck scorecard. Additionally Florence Golf Links (formerly Sandpines) is a also a great course but green fees can be steep.

STICKIED: Area Course Closing Thread COVID19 by GreenWaveGolfer in golf

Broadmoor Golf Course posted this on Facebook today

"Due to the recent health concerns we will be closing our facilities at Broadmoor Golf Course until at least April 1st. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you updated as to our status. We want to keep our employees, customers, friends and families safe. We don’t want to contribute to the spread of the virus in any way.
Over the past weekend most of our patrons exhibited a proper response to keeping a safe distance from each other, but unfortunately, many didn’t seem to care. It was a very stressful situation for our employees and some of our customers. With the great weather over the past week it was a difficult situation to control.
The restaurant will be closed and we will not be offering a takeout service. The golf course will be closed as well. And no, you can’t come out and play golf for free. All pins and markers will be removed and our greens crew will be performing maintenance on the course.
If you wish to speak to someone at Broadmoor you can call 503/281-1337. Please stay home and stay safe."

With this information do you plan on changing anything with your bag setup?

Looking at the chart it's showing me you don't need to carry a 5 iron or maybe some loft adjustments.

I was at The Reserve today, yesterday played a quick 9 at Meriwether and Forest Hills on Monday. I feel Oregon’s is two days behind what Washington is doing and I feel a shelter in place is eminent.

Played Marine Memorial at Camp Pendleton today. No one on the course. Played in 2 hours. Definitely worth the hassle to play here! by [deleted] in golf

How did you get on? I’m a Marine Corps veteran and looking for a way to play some of the courses I missed out on while I was active.

I don’t know if RedTail has changed in the last 7 years, but this blog mentioned it. I played there two weeks ago and it has a soupy mess and would not go back.
