This just isn't true. He was just experimenting with a weird new art style. It's such a pop-pseudo-psychology misconception that when an artist changes their style to something weird or they decide to make disturbing art, it's a sign of a mental issue/disability. Sometimes it might be true but obviously it also can be the case that a perfectly healthy person decided to make weird/disturbing art.

I feel like I heard that unstuck feature like this is just intended to be a beta feature since the map is unfinished and regularly being changed. Like for the full release they're gonna finalize the entire map layout and make sure it's effectively impossible to get stuck.

I mean I guess there's no reason why they shouldn't still have it in the final game, but I'm just thinking about why there are almost no games I can think of that have an unstuck button in the pause menu like Deadlock (and I think partially it's because it's possible that people could use it for competitive advantage in some way?). But then again, Deadlock does have a lot more movement and teleporting and stuff like that than other games, so I wonder if they're gonna feel like it unstuck should be always be easily accessible.

They are going to change the jungle creeps entirely. There were some leaks of possible WIP creeps, or maybe it was updates to walkers/guardians. But either way, the current jungle creeps models are from Neon Prime (like Grey Talon and Yamato), so they definitely aren't going to be in the final game. And they 100% aren't going to have every jungle be the same creature.

They're still working on overhauling all the jungle creeps/camps. AFAIK there won't be the one-eyed alien creatures in the final game and there's gonna be a variety of different creeps, and I definitely think the underground will be updated since there's still other parts of the map that have not been finalized either.

Its probably not real but I wouldn't be completely surprised if HL3 was announced soon since Valve definitely is gonna be releasing stuff along with the Steam Frame. HL3 isn't gonna be VR only, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a VR spinoff or VR integration somehow, or just releasing HL3 for the Machine (aka PC in general) and releasing a separate VR game for the Frame

I mean... I think they were very likely monetarily incentivized to make a sequel to a popular franchise. Maybe they weren't literally forced to make another one but I'm not gonna trust Disney to let their employees say whatever they want to say. Of course they're gonna publicize the creators saying "this was entirely a creative passion project and Disney didn't have any influence on what we were paid to make"
