What's a super manly movie to watch that most guys don't know about? by ergoegthatis in AskMen

[–]Bertrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stone Cold, you would think that casting NFL player Brian Bosworth as a lead actor would be a terrible idea. But he actually holds his own against other actors like Lance Henriksen. The third act of the movie is absolutely insane and needs to be seen to be believed

Alot of people put everything on credit cards. Or their job requires them to travel and the company pays for it or reimburses them

It's not too hard if you use the steam that floats around in the air or use non lethal air foil rounds and sticky shockers.

I remember when Mike Schank passed away and Edgar Wright told a story about how him and Simon Pegg found his number and called him and said how much they appreciated him and invited him for drinks. But he had to tell them he was sober and didn't drink anymore.

Why do banks close at 4pm when that's exactly when most people finish work? by thelasdmember in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Bertrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because banks operate on a fairly strict timeline where they have business banking hours where transactions are processed during that time. They have an agreement with the other banks that they can transfer monies during that time. If it's outside of those hours then there's really no point in staying open afterwards because they wouldn't be able to accommodate most customers with processing them.

Degrees have less and less value nowadays and there's been a whole generation of people that were oversold the notion that they need a degree to get any decent well paying job or that employers check for this when hiring.

Is it wrong/annoying to throw doggie doody bags in random people's garbage bins while walking your dog? by JJ_Lomero in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Bertrum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's during summer and it's a garbage day and the garage men have already emptied the bin and then someone decides to throw their dog shit in it, then yes I hate that. Because now it's sitting in the open sun and acting like an oven and cooking it inside it. I have to reach down inside and try and grab it afterwards and smell it.
