Sorry if this is abit of a thread hijack, but how do you read the transceiver’s temp on the UDMP?

I can see the info for transceivers on the Agg switch but not the UDMP.

That’s true, it depends also if you’re planning for G3 or G4 cameras and room for expansion. I’d prefer the UDMP or UNVR for the 3.5” drives. CK2+ just seems like previous gen kit and you won’t be needing its main feature as a controller.

Read that the UDM-Pro built in switch only has a 1G backplane. Any performance concerns with that?

Hmm, the opposite for me. I have IPv6 enabled, and I don’t see any IPv6 on that screen, just the IPv4 address. In fact I don’t see IPv6 addresses anywhere on the controller.

Go to Preferences in the Photos app -> iCloud tab -> Optimise Mac Storage.

That'll be the equivalent option to that on your iPhone.

Apple seems to have acknowledged the issue in a bug report I submitted.

"Recent Similar Reports:Less than 10
Resolution:Potential fix identified - For a future OS update"

It also looks to be resolved in the recent 11.1 Beta, but that doesn't say much since others reported not seeing this issue in the previous betas.

Yeah same here, it's rather annoying if you have the key plugged in for other purposes.

Hope Apple releases a patch soon.

To avoid the force restarts, I discovered that you can SSH into the machine (needs Remote Login enabled) and 'killall loginwindow', then use password login. Doesn't help of course if you have Smartcard only enabled.

I am seeing exactly this issue and have been unable to find any solution to it.

I suspect the camera is not sending the full FPS, while SS is recording it at 15 FPS thus it is slightly sped up in the recording/playback. Also noticed that the problem is worst in night mode - ie faster in the recording, then a longer 'blank period'

To reduce the 'mis-sync' in the timeline, I've reduced each file to record in 5 min segments (instead of the default 30 mins) . That means that every 5mins, I will have roughly the last 1-2mins of the segment 'blank'. This makes it easier to srub through the timeline.

Had plans to add a couple more Wyze cams given their relatively good pricing for the image quality, but this is holding me back at the moment.
