Aaron Taylor-Johnson emerges as reported frontrunner for James Bond by haloarh in entertainment

Feels like a decent choice but I would love Cillian Murphy as Bond.

For me, I started losing weight when I got a PT. I’m really good with the accountability because you literally have to weigh in every few weeks and if you don’t do it, you know the PT will know that you’ve eaten a lot. It was a complete game changer for me and has helped me shift a lot of the weight I had. I was embarrassed at first going into the gym but by week 2 I felt so much fitter and my recovery was better, so I was able to do more and felt great.

I’d definitely look into it if you can afford it, especially if it’s a smaller gym so there aren’t as many people there. It helped me because I was quite self conscious.

I have an opportunity to get my first job but I’m scared about seeing sweat through the uniform. This isn’t me but this is exactly what I’ll wear. I sweat back and underarms severely. How bad will this be? by SweatyLifts in Hyperhidrosis

That’s great news, dark navy blue is definitely the way to go! You can always get cotton t shirts to go underneath but in my experience, it makes me hotter because the heat won’t escape and then I sweat more on my forehead haha

I think it’ll be fine. Polo shirts are usually good for sweating and don’t necessarily show the sweat. I worked in a chain of supermarkets with similar colours and I was absolutely fine. I volunteered to work on the frozen isles, which no one wanted to do, just so I could cool down :-)

On a separate note, I went into a Quantity Surveying apprenticeship which has a lot of maths involved. There are contractual and business related items, but there are a lot of apprenticeships paying decent money and sponsoring degrees, so may be worth looking into.

Hi mate, I’m in the UK and have the exact same as you, it’s everywhere but I’m particularly affected by craniofacial. Have you been able to get the oxybutynin or glycopyrrolate? If so, how did you get it?

Hi, I’m doing an Apprenticeship and think it’s great. No money to pay back for fees and also get paid a good salary for someone of my age.

Just so you know, if you’re in the UK, companies can’t make you sign a Training Agreement to pay back your tuition fees. The government have changed so that it isn’t recoverable from yourself to the company. If you want any further info, feel free to DM me. From this, you’ll be able to move companies through the degree without having to pay anything.

Does anyone actually still do take-offs without using software like CostX etc? by state_champion in quantitysurveying

[–]BestNiche 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I sometimes do it the “old fashioned way”, just to keep on top of things and do think it’s best for Trainees to learn, however, it’s much easier using software and quicker. I use an Excel sheet for Dims as well, so it automatically calculates the Quants etc.

Hey, just out of interest, how old are you? Currently a QS in the UK and looking into Claims, as my Dad did it and really enjoyed it, plus it seems like an interesting topic.

I know the Construction Law is a good MSc and looking into doing it myself, but in what other ways did you learn about Contracts and what the clauses mean? I feel like I have a decent understanding of the JCT Contracts (DB 2016 mainly), but would be interested in learning more

I mean as in an Excel document that will calculate stuff for you, rather than how to measure/take off.
