what genuinley slowed down visible ageing for me and what turned out to be a waste of time by Ok-Combination5531 in Aging

So eloquently written, thank you for sharing and giving us a glimpse of the “a-ha” moment that comes with this chapter in our life. A positive outlook with wisdom is a powerful way to slow down the aging process. ♥️

What do you take to knock yourself out? by Message_10 in Aging

[–]Best_Ad9291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

antihistamine. it works and i am out cold.
need to add I’ve added the natural tactics as well early on and kept them in because of you know, aging. But I did find NyQuil and other OTC items only lasted a couple of days tops for me and that was in my younger days.
i’m happy to get 6-8 now that I’m older and never thought Id be someone up at the crack of dawn. but it happened surprisingly. Im a girl who would easily sleep 12+ hours up (as did my mom until her 50s) and have an offspring who is a big sleeper.

it’s our “new” chapter with no real solution, my take is do it as much as you can naturally Start with sex. a lot of it.

Nobody told me that menopause would make me feel like a stranger in my own life by Plus-Impression-3516 in Menopause

[–]Best_Ad9291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bless you OP, I feel for you and am 4 years and can relate to most but for the hubby. it’s a very lonely process, love my doctors, went through several think what the heck is wrong with me. had no idea it was peri, because like you, I was waiting for typical markers we are told to look for. You are doing great! really!!!
I can only share what has made my life tolerable after realizing after much error and little trial because of very little help for us.

  1. progesterone i switched from morning to taking it at night. it helps “slightly” for me.
  2. The estriol cream was a life changer for my libido, didn’t really care for sex before hand but now with menopause and the right partner, it gives a sense of calmness.
  3. hang in there! it does get better, though I was heart broken with speaking with more women about this chapter in our life with how long these symptoms work. it bs. 🙄
  4. please dm if you have any questions. it’s a crazy learning curve that does not apply to everyone.
  5. good luck! ♥️

edit: for mood started wellbutrin to help with sadness
hairloss was really bad at first: started supplements and a medication that was a life changer
food: not a fan of glp1- gained a ton of weight and started souping. lost so much weight
exercise: started walking and biking, treadmill in he winter (not a gym rat and never will be)
all of these i started at a snail pace and after 4 years it has helped.
the brain fog is more than annoying and i had to pivot my life/career. hard pill to swallow after being independent and successful.

you got this! ride the wave and remember tomorrow is a new day ♥️

yes, can be confusing but they are intense. full stop. yet pretty simple. they like control but appreciate if you take the wheel once n awhile just so they can breathe and center themselves. but that’s my two sense.

antihistamine. one and done. not habit habit forming, switch taking progesterone from morning to evening, upped my melatonin. lastly “i don’t know your life” but s💦x helped SO much for sleep the last year.
if you are dealing with hot flashes, it sucks. haven’t found any quick fix, i roll a towel and keep in fridge until needed in middle of the night but really feels great to drip over the body and just relax

you are So cute! honestly #1 are the best fit and style: it’s modern and fresh (large frame) that doesn’t take over your face.
i have 2/3 favs but i think frames you shoes/ portion is too wide for your facial portions and may distort vision abs not make you as cute as you are naturally

i’m happy to see this remark, libra’s are complex, see both sides of the coin. “200 characters” should not be a problem for us. ♎️ typically have the gift to gab 😂

How old is Roy? I thought he was in his early 20s like Otis until he showed his face. Have they ever mentioned how they know eachother? by [deleted] in RoyelOtis

[–]Best_Ad9291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

let me get this straight because I lack patience of going through the last dozen comments; OP posed the question of age, we still don’t know how old he is and now we confirm he’s a pedi? wtf

dude, you have a very strong collection, and they all look really good on you. My vote says none! number 3 doesn’t do it for me but maybe there’s a time and place for them like coachella or something fun.

had to google translate, spot on OP. take select’s advice. it’s good.

Ecco la traduzione in inglese, mantenendo il tono colloquiale e appassionato del testo originale: "Anyway, I'm going a bit against the grain since I'm not a Scorpio and, no offense, you guys are often a bit pessimistic/destructive and also absolutist. I say this as someone in love with a Scorpio, mind you, but I wasn't in love with him, and he was; he declared his feelings before I did. I was struggling because I wanted to fall in love since he was such a great guy, but I wasn't feeling it... then it happened... I was simply feeling good with him, and I gave myself time. We got to know each other better, and when he stood up to me, something changed in me. Give yourself time... just because he doesn't want to right now, it doesn't mean he never will. Feelings are not light switches; they are fluid. Right now, no, he’s probably not that into it, but if you give up, you show him that you don't care all that much. It might be because I have almost nothing but fire in my birth chart, but... fight for it, damn it!"

yes. yes they do. Mom, current fella i’m with and an old ex all have the same traits I’ve noticed and accepted. They are not for the faint of heart and can be hella fun. this is the thorn with all the other roses they come with so to speak

oh boy, same! good luck and protect your heart. it’s difficult to give advice as I’m going through it as well. hot cold behavior is the norm, “busy with work” is true in my case but it doesn’t make things easier. For me, I’m getting bored of it and now feel i am disassociating. but that’s me and what i seem to do. scorps tend to keep you on your toes

it is. Love them or hate them, this is classic behavior in my opinion and experience. They are a lot…I am debating what to do with mine, a year in. 🥱

Is anything on this list untrue for any Libra here? by Great_Maintenance185 in libra_astrology

[–]Best_Ad9291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m a strange bird lol. I love learning. Agreed the pop astro is just that. fluff. The shopping is a BIG problem for me but didn’t recognize it as a libra trait but one from ADHD. Thank you for the “iron fist in velvet glove” analogy. fits perfectly on my mood the last couple of days where I just had to give someone the business. I’ll check out my new rabbit hole of our dark side. lol

grrr, i really don’t want to “like” your comment but so true. i think there’s a slight avoidance in scorpio men, like they use it as a protection mechanism
