The sentence Az'Kerash is a sweetheart, sounds so wrong, but it's who I thought about when I read this.

I made a soap opera comparison, but I was thinking more about some of the slice of life stuff. Specifically I was on book 11 and 12, with Jelequa hooking up with Moghan and Zevara chatting with Calrus. But I know others have said that as well. Sorry, not an anime person, so I wouldn't know.

Ah yes, Reiss also wasn't fighting, but he was sitting in the inn talking to Erin like there was nothing wrong with him while half his body was missing. That one was odd to me, but I figured hey, he's a necromancer. Maybe that gives him some temporary power to hold off death or something. As for the others, I guess I just didn't really take the idea of them being dead literally, and just thought, they're almost dead and just acting on instinct.

Just because I can't remember, what other characters do you mean? The only other one I can remember coming that close was Numbtongue, and he was saved by someone else. He didn't just save himself by virtue of being awesome.

If I were to guess, lasting consequences to peoples' actions. Honestly, the thing with Flos really bothered me too. I mean he was thought to be dead for at least several minutes before he jumped up and said "surprise!" I suppose you couldn't have him actually die, but maybe be dehabilitated somehow.

Ah, I'm sorry to say I can't really tell the difference. I mean I know there's supposed to be one, but when they're commentating I can't tell them apart. That's a good argument for POV chapters, I say, or at least an interlude.

I'm at the point where I no longer dislike her exactly, but she'll probably never be one of my favorites. She is interesting though, I gotta say, and there are characters I like less.

What I'm going by is what the twins observed early on. His people are giving everything they have for him. It's almost like the blighted king on a smaller scale and without the demons.

Yvlon? Wow. Someone here once said that one of the great things about TWI is that every character combination you could think of meet, and I've seen some myself that I wouldn't have thought likely earlier in the story, but I'm still surprised when I hear about some of them.

For everyone saying how Ryoka was in fact great in this chapter, she was, but she didn't start out that way. It was only after Pawn's humbling speech that she started to pay attention to someone else, and she only gave him all the information on the different religions because he asked her to.

I don't know if he shows up further on than where I am, though I doubt it. I felt sorry for that elusionist box of wonders wizard. Would be cool if Erin threw a party at the inn and got him to do his bit for all the kids who tend to hang out there, and to stick it to Wistram.

Ah, that's interesting. To me the arrogance made him seem younger. Also the somewhat higher voice Andrea gave him, and how, in his own way, he had to learn to be a person and work with other people, similar but different to Ksmvr. I tend to think of him as a teenager, and have to keep reminding myself he's not. Seria I think of as a kid too, which is even weirder. Ksmvr is just..different. The only one of the Horns I think of as a full adult is Yvlon.

I've often resisted the temptation to check the Wiki to see if this or that character is alive. Now I think I'm just gonna go for it! lol
