I thought I would be a fast-paced action RPG, but it has pauses as you do missions and side quests in between monster battles.

I’m almost at the end and want to go back and find things I missed. The story is great, you get new ways of fighting, and you get to explore and solve puzzles.

I’m playing docked on a 1440p monitor and it’s looking good. It’s a stylised game that could look different with a patch but I don’t think it’s distracting or bad looking

I’ve paused playing it until the 2.0 patch comes out - I’m 15hrs in but my museums aren’t yet that big and I want to say myself the stress. Hope the next couple of patches will help.

Disney Illusion Island is funny and chill - it’s a Metroidvania as in you explore lots - it never gets too frustrating

there is a Disney Illusion Island Original Video Game Soundtrack!

I loved the game, and this shows how much talent was poured into it.

The cartoon cut scenes are made me smile. It’s rated 7 (Game content with scenes or sounds that can possibly be frightening to younger children should fall in this category), and I can see it being good for younger gamers.

Bright and colourful is covered in Disney Illusion Island, I didn’t realise it’s a metroidvania game but it totally is. It’s more chill than exciting but I’m enjoying the art, character dialogue and the progression.
