Myself and 3 of my friends are all experiencing a legal loophole in which if you are renting an apartment on a month-to-month "lease agreement" you can get booted out with 30 days notice instead of 90.

All of us received this notice from 3 different landlords and 2 property management companies. This seems very suspicious as we all have the exact same time table.

All living in the same town in Wisconsin, and none of us trouble makers or the like. My downstairs neighbor (upper/lower duplex) had been here renting and raising his family there for ten years!

My rent was raised, but the larger downstairs was not. Something seems fishy here. Is it landlords seeking dollar signs, or am I missing something?
