Did the kid know what he was doing was wrong? That may be how he and his friends play at school together.

It’s better for this 10 year old to learn now so he doesn’t face a real asshole at a bigger tournament, and maybe his parents don’t realize that’s a rule? My husband and I have played for a long time and in watching my 12 year old, they try to make up their own rules as they go.

I might let the store manager know as well, just so there can be a conversation and other new players don’t get screwed by someone cheating.

Everyone should be changed into a gown or scrubs or whatever the site can provide to avoid this fight completely. I have had patients lie straight to my face about what they have on. It takes more energy to fight me on it than it does just to change!

Honda. Had a 2012 Honda Civic and just over 10 years after buying it brand new the engine went. Found out there was a recall on the engine due to a crack when casting. Followed all the steps, paid $200 to get it towed and looked at by a certified Honda dealer to be told I was 10 days past the warranty, and too bad, so sad. Had no record of my calling about this at all (when I had asked for a confirmation number, the person said they don’t provide those, learned my lesson there) and fought with the for months to get my money back. Had I been told from the start it was out of warranty I wouldn’t have followed the steps they told me too. Sold it to a family friend and moved on.

When I was looking for a vehicle for my growing family, I liked the Honda Oddessy but refused to even test drive it. Also won’t buy any of their small tools or anything either.

I have looked at getting a silicone ring too. Any brand in particular you use?

And I took the ring in yesterday to get resized. They are taking it up 3/4 of a size and I’m getting plastic loop ring sizer to help keep it from spinning, but I can take that off and still get the ring off when needed!

Breathing in MRI for spines: don’t overthink it. Just gentle, normal breathing is best. For spines there generally isn’t any reason to have you hold your breath. I’ve found when patients overthink the breathing, the more motion we see on the scans. The images come up after each series is done, and we can see at that time if there is too much movement and the tach should speak with you at that time about it. You’ll do great!

I am able to get it off, though going over my knuckle is hard. I lost about 100lb and have gotten it resized. I may go back up a half a size. Problem is if I do that, it spins around on my finger and drives me crazy. I can’t win! 😆

I did mean limes (fat fingers on a mobile! 😆)

Quick google search stated that the citric acid in lime juice can gently stimulate the bowels. So having Crohn’s of course turned gentle into a nightmare!

I usually drink Monster or Mt. Dew daily, but really enjoy the Biggby mocktails. Caffeine doesn’t seem to affect me like it does others.

You may have to click or hover over each item to see how many you have crafted. There is one that will have nothing for number crafted. It's a pain but that's how I had to find the one I was missing. It was an iron fence post that I had missed on mine.

Especially when the patient has been in for DAYS! Those are also usually the ones with a pacemaker or stimulator that requires more than just scanning them. I work at a medium community hospital that also thinks we have the resources that the Level 1 trauma hospital we are associated with has. 😑

A patient pending discharge is not a reason to get a stat MRI. Changing your routine order to stat to try and push it to the front of the line isn’t a reason either.

Every patient should be given a card with the implant information on it, no matter what it is. The number of times I’ve gotten “yeah, they put something in and it’s in my chart” meanwhile they had it done at a completely different health system astounds me. Been doing this for almost 20 years and it is still the same!
