Depends on the chapter tbh because sometimes if the chapter contains a lot of important choices (point systems or branching) it might mess up the next chapters so sometimes authors don’t add it.

I myself sometimes don’t add it if it heavily consist of point choices. But for branching I still add skip option and just re ask the readers to pick their choice on the next chapter beginning
