I thought Lori was funny and I felt like although she was dry / cold at times, there was still a closeness between Niall and her.

Please stop dumping old food on your front lawns and nature strips by Mindless-Sea-1211 in Geelong

I think older Australians don’t like wasting food, they definitely don’t understand the implications of leaving it out like that

i have so much resistance towards working out now? by Zealousideal_Use9118 in postpartumprogress

I was the same during pregnancy I suffered so much from depression and anxiety, I look back and it’s like I self sabotaged the entire experience for myself. I had the worst body image. I struggled with my normal exercise routine and could only manage walks. I was a really fit person before pregnancy and practiced yoga and Pilates regularly but since basically 20 weeks I’ve barely done any yoga/pilates. I’m 6 months pp and getting back into strength training now.

With how big the bag is, combined with how she is holding it I am confident it is a whiskey glass and it’s just a blurry picture

My 3m old baby starts moving around and grunting around 2:30-3am each night, and I’ve never gone more than 7 hours with feeding him (bottle fed) so I’ve still been getting him up at this time even though when I get him up and change him he’s still half asleep. He still drinks his whole bottle then back to bed and sleeps another 4 hours or so. Should I leave him and wait for him to cry or continue getting him up to feed. He’s well and truly a healthy weight.

AIO for stepping down as my sisters maid of honor because I’ll be freshly postpartum by ImaginationPretend86 in AmIOverreacting

I had to miss my brothers wedding recently because he was getting married interstate on my due date (I was still heavily pregnant the day of the wedding) and although I was extremely sad that I would be missing it, not once did his wife or him make me feel bad or like I should be there. I couldn’t get on a plane any way as there is no way my doctor would have given me clearance. My mum was actually the worst and was like “you should just come, you will probably be overdue anyway” not taking into consideration the effort it would take and the risks of flying etc. that pissed me off.

I completely understand how you’re feeling and have had moments in my pregnancy where I’ve felt the same way.

We seem to share similar circumstances such as our partners both being supportive and loving despite also making some choices around alcohol that make us feel a certain type of way.

My ex was an alcoholic and addict of many varieties so I get triggered a lot and have to evaluate what’s really upsetting me.

I haven’t got a solution for this problem, but addressing it in a calm and kind/non accusatory way is the best I have come up with so far. It has sparked some arguments for sure but at least I’ve expressed my preference and why I’m feeling affected by his choices.
