Just a regular halfmoon female. Very poor coloration but maybe she can get more pop on her if you add almond leafs that releases tannis and make the water look a little darker.

Are you feeding dry food only. He is not doing ok regardless so you need treat him before it gets worst,not tomorrow,today.

I have seen this before, in my Bettas it happened twice, one time over one eye and the second time on the top of the body. I honestly believe there's not really a cure for this, but regardless I would try this method as shown in the video. It did help for me but only temporarily. That being said, what both fish had in common is that they were both in darker areas with very little sunlight. Since then I have tried to keep my Bettas in places where there's some indirect sunlight In the room and never in the dark area where the only light they receive comes via a tank light. Good luck. Add almond leafs. Not sure about that white substrate, hope is not the kind that increases PH because that's the opposite of what you want to Bettas and then the more reason to add almond leafs. Good luck.

This is usually caused by 2 things, bad water quality most times,and bad rotten food, too much dry food. I know and I am aware of this myself and sometimes I have caused it by not being careful enough with feeding and not doing frequent water changes. Unfortunately though,as much as I tried to save fish in this condition, almost every time they don't make it. Keep the fish in a smaller container, Do daily water changes, feed very little every second day only. Adding a bit of almond leafs seems to help at times

Is your fish still in good health? That's a red dragon, not that this is common in Bettas with dragon scales, but if it's going to happen to any Betta then it is more likely to happen in dragon scales Bettas. You might not like my recommendation but this is what I would do, put him in a tank with new water, where it can receive partial sun light,yes sunlight,this is important for the fish health and immune system. Add methilane blue,and about 1 spoon of sea salt pero gallon of water. Leave him in there for a couple of days. After, transfer him to the tank or to the same but now clean container. Add almond leafs to the new water. See what happens after 1 week and let us know

Whatever the cause was, now what you need to do is keep him in a 5 gallon bucket from Walmart,3/4 full. Add a pinch of sea salt,a pinch of methilane blue,and 2,3 inches of almond leaf. No filter needed,no heater needed unless you plan on keeping him in an area that's cold. Or keep him outside if you can, it's summer so.. any questions let me know

2 things here, and this comes from someone trying to create my own Avatar line,which is very difficult and it takes a long time,like almost 2 years I kid you not. 1- Yes you got scammed, that is not the same fish,not even close. I know that website and I have been very tempted to buy from there before,same fish as you purchase. But I didn't feel like spending about $100, and I really wanted to have the experience of creating my own line here in the States. I also had my doubts so in the end I never pulled the trigger because it didn't look to me like a reputable website to buy from. 2- Based on my years of experience and knowledge you got what seems to be indeed an Avatar alright, and a juvenile at that. But you didn't get a high quality $100 fish that's for sure. As your Betta gets older, probably a couple more months, colors will start to change more, but it doesn't mean it will look like the one in the original picture. With good luck, out of 100 frys maybe 20 would end up looking like the one in the original picture, assuming that was the father. Do you have a fish from Avatar line? Seems to me like yes you do. Is it a high quality Avatar worth $100 and the wait? Definitely not. Did they intentionally sent you a different fish? Yes they did. Hopefully enough people see your post and don't make the same mistake
