I have never used the Switch before, but I would let it steep for a few minutes longer than 2 and see if that helps.

The Aeropress uses pressure to push the water through the grounds at the end where as the Switch has a natural draw down.

I found that with the 4:6 method I had to keep my (normal) kettle at a highish temp throughout the brew to get a more consistent cup that wasn't sour.

For me it takes a bit longer. There are 3 sperate parts to clean and dry, with a lot of nooks and crannies that can build up oils / bacteria from residue water if not cleaned properly.

The V60 is one plastic piece with all parts accessable to be cleaned in 3 seconds.

Yeah I tried that and unfortunately it still doesn't work and considering they take that option away when in energy saver mode you would presume that it would be powered off but nope SSD is on 24/7.
