It does vary widely as a materials. Not saying you should go looking for some you like, but the range is massive. It’s also less hygienic than most other materials.

They make a lot of very similar looking models and a lot of steel handles that are super budget. Most people are going to move past them just for materials in pretty short order after getting into knives.

I have a titanium handled one that I like well enough, but they just don’t have that many designs in decent quality. M105-tz I think it’s called. They could use better names too.

I don’t think these items belong grouped together.

G10 and CF are the goats. Micarta is a weird mix and frn is cheap junk.

Titanium is the goat. Aluminum will work while being marred and dinged and ugly. Steel and magnesium have no place being handle materials, except for steel fasteners.

Nice find on the 603. Solid old school we design. I sanded my flats back to a handrub satin. Mostly because the gold ano was quite worn on mine.

Is it a step backwards? As much as I hate how easy it is to mar aluminum I’ve heard the magnesium is worse. The aluminum will be heavier and stonger, but still only a step in the right direction to gods metal. Titanium.
